It's clean everywhere, with comfortable & spacious room and a nice swimming pool. Their restaurant/bar is pretty good, too - in fact it's so popular they would do well to have a few more tables!! The staff are very friendly, from the receptionists to waiters/waitresses to housekeepers. It's in a very handy location, with 5 minutes walk to the bus terminal, flea market and city shops.

It is a great spot for starting a Samoan journey - handy to the centre of Apia, staff who will help you organise the next stage and a restaurant with good, reasonably priced food. I recommend the grilled chicken with pimento sauce served with steamed vegetables - delicious. The hotel was modest at best. I have stayed in the best hotels in the world (including the top 10 hotels globally) but guess what, you are not going to feel as welcomed and taken care of as you would when you visit this small, refreshing and friendly hotel. I do want to thank the staff and owner for a wonderful and rewarding stay. The staff were really professional, helpful and friendly. They spoke English well so were easy to communicate with. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk to town with great views from the balcony over the sea. The pool and gardens are beautiful. The meals are good value. We loved everything about Amanaki, from the spacious rooms, beautiful garden, clean pool, great food and especially the friendly service all around. It's like a home away from home with excellent customer service/hospitality. Relaxing atmosphere and the hospitality from the staff was fantastic always helpful. Food was great and price was appropriate considering others in the area charged more, money well worth spent. Would return again. The lovely staff, especially the amazing receptionist that gave our young daughter her beautiful beaded necklace. The service from everyone was just fantastic and we really enjoyed the night we spent there!. remarkably helpful and friendly staff and management. Everything is done to make your life easier. Unpretentious and cosy, the perfect place to stay if you need to be in the heart of Apia. The room was very spacious so a couple of easy chairs would have fitted easily and made sitting more comfortable, rather than having to sit on the bed. Air conditioning wasn't strong enough. nothing. small cockroaches and ants in the room, especially at night.
