It was in a good location on izimailozsky park, though bewarned the park has been build up over the years ... the hotel is very close to metro, which is great it has shops and food restaurants at hand we went in december and was very pleased. Great location >close to METRO. also enjoy weekend market that just 5 mins walking from hotel. Hotel also provides free wifi in the room. Food is easy to find around hotel. Overall recommend to all short visitors.
all reviews » Gamma is OK. I have stayed there many times. It is certainly one of the best values for money in Moscow. I like the atmosphere as you have all sorts of people there. They are now much improved in terms of service. Nice location (close to metro), slippers, hair dryer, towels, soap/shampoo/shower caps included. Clean room, good breakfast for good price. Im stay in this hotel 4 times and very satisfyed. Tasty and various breakfast for reasonable price, rooms are very clean and cozy, nice location near beautiful Izmaylovsky park and really close to metro station. Daily room cleaning, many equipment, amazing view from 26th flour, nice restaurant, fast check in. We were very satisfied. Very convinient location next to metro and big store. Good room and service. No AC, although I had a "business" room: it is difficult when it is hot in summer. Lengthy check-in process. It is too complex and not well organised. I stayed there 40 minutes. This must be improved. For its price everything good. no aircon in room - but in fact a good fan and opened window were enough for us =). bed was a little bit hard to me. There was no kettle. a small wardrobe for clothes. slow chek in. Check in. Very Bad wifi No free breakfast ( a bit expensive also 15$ ). Breakfast, receptionist (40 minutes check-in). The window was so dirty. None of the cafes or stands in the hotel allow you to take the food back to your room. The sidewalks and pavement surrounding the hotel (as part of the complex, not the streets) are terrible for rolling luggage. Access is difficult if you are on foot. Mo air conditioned in the rooms. Very hot! samall bathrooom. A bit far out from the center.... if you have bags it can be a nightmare on the metro from the airport, as most metro stations dont have lifts or escaltors so you have to carry your bags up all the steps.... if you have someone in a wheelchair the metro is really a no no......hotels are a bit expensive for what you get .... no air-condition in the room and very loud music every evening in the open-air hotel' restaurant. Quite busy reception - without personal attention. No LCD TV as it was declared. Staff is not responsive. We made a couple of separate reservations for consecutive days in the same hotel, and they forced us to move rooms each time. Rooms don't have a/c and get very hot. Internet in the rooms is quite weak. WiFi was terrible in my room and there was the most horrendous fight in the coffee shop, that seemed to start over the fact there were prostitutes in the bar. My girlfriend is Russian but somehow even though the room was booked for two people she was treated like a cheap prostitute and had to register her passport details every time she went up to my room. Not very professional. Swimming pool not included in price and staff at it didn't speak any English so didn't use it which I had hoped to do. No English speaking staff except few at Reception bed and pillow in my room not comfortable room service food is poor. I arrived at 15:30 (arrival time was announced as 14:00) and was waiting 1.5 hours in the lobby waiting for my room to be cleaned. Very poor staff response. Small room, old furnitures. I'd like to have no smoking room, but they give me room, smells like Irish pub. 1)Very slow service. It took almost half an hour to check in 2) Bad WIFI connection inside the room. We had to go to floor lobby in order to get better connection. Surly staff who don't make eye contact with customers. Old hotel. bed; no air conditioned.
