Good facilities (sauna, small pool, good restaurants with life music and bars). The rooms in Delta (and also Vega) are renovated and are more modern than the other Izmailova complexes. The bath is good and the beds are reasonably good (differs slighty from room to room). The restaurant offers a very good buffet breakfast that can also be purchased separately per day (or at the booking or check-in ... for a slightly lower price). The hotel is on only a few minutes walking distance to the metro s.

Old air-conditioning system worked really weird, I could smell cigarette smoke from the other rooms despite my room being non-smoking. Really long time to check-in. -No luggage room (Delta hotel uses the luggage room of Gamma Hotel and the cost is 50 Ruble per bag) -American Express cards are not accepted although AMEX is indicated on the wall as accepted card (the excuse is that the machine is not working today, but this is the same every day) - Too warm in room (airco can't be turned by guest). Abaence sport channels at tv. The hotel insists on the full prepayment of your stay. And should it be the case you would like to order something, you should either pay for it immediately through card ( which was challenging, as their room service terminal was out of service), or not dependingly on the hour of the day, go for an exchange and pay by cash. Due to this kind of approach, there is no minibar in the rooms as well, just a free refrigerators. The hotel staff is not so friendly, rather cold with the foreigners. - No coffee, tea or even water in the room. You have to buy them. - No mini bar. - Using swimming pool is chargeable. Checking in took forever. No decent bar in the hotel (probably a good thing judging by the price of the drinks). Reception staff unhelpful . not comfortable, chaos hotel, kind of Hotel-supermarket. Location, unfriendliness and unhelpfullness of many of the staff, overpriced.
