By chance - and by luck - I stayed at two of them, in Trondheim and Tromso, and regret I could not try the third one, in Mo i Rana: I have rarely enjoyed such a fine hospitality! In both places, the reception staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, giving a truly warm welcome, way beyond professional obligations; rooms were bright and spacious, with typical Nordic, simple and elegant decoration; the location is cen.
all reviews » This is a great hotel, with all the vital amenities, take away all the stuff that you'd rather not pay for. For the low cost price, I was surprised by how great the interior design and quality of the room was. Fantastic! Be aware they do not serve breakfast, which is why the price is so cheap, but I see that as a plus. The location in town was very good (and there was a very cute chocolate shop just next to the hotel!). Friendly receptionist, too. And the free coffee/tea is always a plus. I also received a discount coupon for a nearby bakery, which was nice as well. Very nice hotel. Good view from our room of the mountains. Nice decor. Free tea and coffee from reception. Clean and comfortable. Very good value for money by Norwegian standards, I have stayed at hostels with much poorer conditions and paid more. The staff at front desk called to make sure we got our keys as we arrived late. The rooms were wy about our expectatation, and the way breakfast was organized in collaboration with the neighbour bakery was very nice. No nonsense hotel. Just check in, get a nice room, cleaning once a week. Just make sure to find the free coffee on the first floor, and if you don't like stairs: no room on the 5th floor ;). The staff was super accommodating and helpful. They held our luggage so we could get lunch while our room was getting readied, which was so helpful! They all were very nice young adults. Lovely hotel in the center of Trondheim. Fully equiped kitched which makes it possible to save money and cook own food. Girls at the reception are very-very friendly, helpful and nice!. The lady in reception is like 100 miles an hour all the time and ultra happy and it was nice to have that instead of someone who just hates life like you can get in some hotels.. the staff is friendly and the hotel is clean and functional. So if you love your tourist breakfast: look at cheaper options. Room quite small. Wifi in general on Norway, Finland and Sweden sucks. could do with a dispensing machine for drinks and snacks. I didnt like that they do room service only twice. no 24h reception. No parking. The breakfast is not included. Nothing. There wasn't beakfast. The big lip everywhere. No free parking. There was not enough of the main light as I could not see my spots clearly in the mirror. it would have been helpful to get a breakfast in the hotel rather than next door. Hairdryer didn't work. No kettle in the room. Kitchen is not always open. Rather troublesome to ask staff for help every time I need to get access (as I was in a working trip so had to work in my room). would be great if every room is equipped with a kettle. Breakfast expensive even with 15% discount. The bookingsystem.... Room size. No preakfast. Overall, I'm happy but note that this is NOT a 4-star hotel! Nobody cleaned the room (I was there three days), there is no breakfast facilities, nor a standard table in the room where I could work on my laptop. I strongly suggest to consider this a 3-star hotel. Missing breakfast. Very bad Internet speed. No breakfast, although a discount voucher is included for the excellent organic bakery next door. They did not ever clean the room during 4 days of my stay. Not even provide the towel, toilet paper from the second day (they just provide those when asked. But I don't know what it would be with cleaning, because I did not ask). Nightclub in the basement until 2.15 a.m. (Fri/Sat and Sat/Sun nights). First night was OK as I was out on the town myself, but had early train on the Sunday and could have done with more sleep. Noisy room facing street. The room was booked at letsbookhotel.com, but when we arrived no room was reserved!!. very noisy at night.
