  Excellent breakfast. Fem Steuer restaurant served very good quality Easter buffet. Although we booked the cheapest room, we still got a room with nice view over Oslo and the fjord. Metro link to city center stops quite close to hotel (ca. 5 - 10 min walk, depending if you go uphill or downhill).   Stayed for a weekend, booked a standard double room for one person via letsbookhotel.com. Nice price, 1800 nok for two nights including breakfast. Finding the hotel is easy, it's next to Stortinget in the centre of Oslo. I contacted the hotel in advance of my arrival, asking for a room with a window towards the street. They responded - Perfect central location. 1 minute from the Parliament, 3 minutes to the Town Hall and harbour. Less than 10 min walk from main train station. Staff very friendly, we even got upgraded from a superior room to a suite. Very clean. Breakfast selection very very good. Free wi-fi included, plus 2 PCs in the lobby connected to a printer, so we managed to check in and print our boarding passes on our last day.

  This is probably my new favorite hotel in the world. So many good things to say, I'll try to keep it short: - The staff at the desk was friendly - and so helpful. Their dinner recommendations were right on when we asked for an affordable dinner - The rooms are decorated nicely and I felt like I was staying in luxury - The shower - wow. I almost fell over the first morning when I came - An absolutely great hotel. A very good value-clean, spacious rooms, great breakfast, located about 1 mile from the city sightseeing center, free coffee and outstanding, friendly and knowledgeable staff. All of their recommendations for restaurants were excellent. I research all my hotels before a stay and this was right on target. I would highly recommend it to anybody. My wife says it made the trip. I agree!

I interacted with several of them over three days both to change rooms (I asked if I could move to the front) and due to a lost baggage issue I was having with the airline. The room (I had a double) was quite nice, with large windows and high ceilings. Their breakfast was also on point (definitely worth waking up for, especially given how expensive food is in Norway.) Nice breakfast buffet in the restaurant downstairs (included in room price) where I also had a very favorably priced (for Oslo standards) meal at night. Probably the best place I've stayed in Oslo. Price-quality ratio is excellent!
