Great location, only a few minutes walk from the city. Good parking, even though it costs extra. The room was basic but clean and what you would expect. The bed was good and it was quiet as we were in a room facing the carpark. Friendly helpful professional staff, clean comfortable room, easy access & lift, convenient location, easy to find, pleasant workable reception from (guest point of view), great outlook from room, good dining area,.

Also good car parking available. Great location in Central Wellington. We were two couples travelling together and had interconnecting rooms. Great value summer deal including freshly cooked full breakfast. Comfortable beds and good shower. This Hotel has a great location and is close to the water front restaurants and shopping. Public transport close too. Value for money and the staff are excellent and helpful. Book with confidence. Location to restaurants, nightlife and harbour is excellent. Well heated hotel during a cold period. I was very impressed that it was possible to order fresh milk and it was delivered very promptly,. The tv was old but that's about all. expensive fruit & cereal for breakfast. nothing. Hotel is well priced for what it has to offer. Bathroom a little small but perfectly adequate. Older style tv but again didn't really matter considering the good price we paid. Okay the building is rather old but it is clean. No AC but that has never been a problem as the ventilation is okay with the windows open. In winter the heating is good so no problems. I expected that the sheets and pillowcases would have been pressed. Tv small, older model. Used to a buffet breakfast bit dare for a a lar cate. Nothing!. The toilet seat / lid joint was not clean, not happy about that! (901). I stayed in room 906 and I suspect the somewhat irritating noise I could hear during the day and into the evening was exhaust fans from the hotel restaurant. no balcony...and no windows you could open to get sufficient fresh air. mini bar a little pricey. Bathroom floor (tiles) looked a bit grubby in places. The decor looked a bit tired, room needed a spruce-up. Laundry service too expensive. No free WiFi. very uncomfortable arm chairs decore slightly dated. Nothing!. n/a. when I checked in they made $210 + $100 in hold ,and when I checked out they charged $210 (for our stay two night ), and $210 +$100 still in pending ,so I could not use that $310 credit from my credit card for 4 days after I checked out . The onsite and bar had limited hrs of operation and the building itself could use a fresh coat of paint. Staff member who my partner talked to after I had paid the bill was almost rude. Only having one sideplate and a knife in the room, plus cups, saucers and glasses!. My only complaint was the electric jug was too big to be filled by the tap, very minor. Wifi was expensive, I paid for 24hours but it only lasted till 12noon the next day... so not relly 24hours! And the Parking was a bit expensive but I suppose thats what you get for the location. It is getting a bit old looking on the outside of the building and in the bathrooms. We had to wait till 2pm to get into our room. We were concerned about the $210 authority you took out on our credit card without telling us about it. It was about a week before this was cancelled, which we think is very unfair. Hotel could do with some redecoration. Rooms are a bit tired. Just the usual having to pay for carpark, would be good if they charged less, but guess that is everywhere you go. Also the room was very hot when arrived and no airconditioning to cool it down. It did end up cooling down at night which was a relief. No electric blankets on the bed. Very poor TV reception, no sky. noise outside window bed too soft. TV needs upgrading, toilet flush very loud, thin walls, (could hear next room TV at 130am, baby crying in another room). Having to pay $18 to use the Hotel's car park for less than 24 hours. When travelling, you expect to accommodate your car for free. saggy bed on first night (no trouble with changing room for subsequent nights); toilet seat that hit flush button and delivered cold wet surprise upon sitting, in room 301!; room too hot; bedspread too heavy to sleep under and was left on floor by cleaners. shower pressure , and building site next door . Very noisy even with windows closed. Rather dated bathrooms, but adequate. Being charged for parking. Very inflexible WiFi prices so we wouldn't buy time. A bit worn and old. Some WEEK END staff not knowelegable about restaurants, what to do etc. Dirty bed cover on arrival. nothing!. continental breakfast too dear when only wanting porridge. we could hear the people in the next room. The jug was hard to fill, had to use bathroom sink. room rather cramped even for that price range rather old t.v. and temperamental remote otherwise ok.
