the staff was really really friendly! they were very busy and i asked for another room. not because mine was bad but because of a generator outside making too much noise. it was no problem, i got another room and they even helped me out with lugguge. The room was perfect! clean, coffee and tea, nice bathroom.. good beds! it is a 10 minute walk to the town centre and if you don't wanna walk, the hotel offers a free shuttle bus, every hour until 9 pm. I enjoyed my stay here! Thank you very much n.
all reviews » Lovely hotel! Great location, a short walk into town - yes, it is uphill on the way back but they do offer a free shuttle service every hour if you don't want to walk back! The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The staff are so pleasant and friendly, very helpful in booking a range of activities for us, nothing seemed to be too much trouble. All in all, a great stay, hope we can come back some time!. We stayed only 1 night at the Millennium & found it to be a fairly good, but busy, hotel. The staff are professional & courteous; the rooms are large & comfortable but need a little updating. Only a 5 min walk to centre of town which is great for quick trips. We managed to get a great deal for our room via the Net & hence, we were very happy with our experience. The room was so comfy especially the bed where did you get the mattress from never slept in a bed so comfy :) It made a change the windows opened for fresh air- most of them shut and air cond causes us problems with sinus's. Very clean hotel could not have wanted any more location to Queenstown was perfect. Great place! Booked the day of on letsbookhotel.com for a good deal. The air conditioning didnt work at night and was loud during the day the USB plug is unavailable for use in the TV. I would have liked to have free WiFi access. No car parks in the hotel. Had to park round the back on the streets which was a long way to walk with bags. We were a little bit unimpressed with having to pay extra for parking, when there is not real alternative as street parking in minimal and unsafe. I think when you are paying top dollar to stay in a nice hotel, secure parking should be provided free of charge. Internet was rather expensive. would be nice to get some free usage. Water pipes wined a bit. no free wi-fi hard with teenagers. booked two rooms as we were traveling with teenage kids and they were 5 doors away, I would have liked joining rooms or at least next door. It's rather grand but in need of a refresh. Loud guests at 4 a.m. disturbed sleep. The receptionist changed our room without notification from the fifth floor to third. The standard of the two rooms were completely different. Paying for carpark whilst staying at the hotel and also no notifying there would be a cost to park at reception or time of check in. it was a little dated and the shower was terrible. Not a lot of parking, especially as there were a lot of mattresses and leftover bits and pieces (maybe from renovations?) in one section of the carpark. No cookies to go with my first cup of tea. Car parking facilities. internet cost. nothing.

Millennium Hotel Queenstown is the only fully air conditioned hotel in Queenstown & all Premium Rooms have been refurbished (completion date June 2006).
