Booking was really easy, when we arrived we were made very welcome.The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the room excellent. We would certainly recommend this hotel, and next time we are in Amsterdam will stay again. the staff were very friendly and was in the best spot for everything we needed, was very clean and have no bad points about it at all.Very nice and stylish hotel. Perfect location. Funny room design. Friendly and really usefull staff on reception.

Staff were all really friendly and the reception area looked very nice and clean. The rooms were cleaned everyday and were kept spotless. For 2 persons traveling for 5 weeks we had large bags. The room hasno space for storage for the bags and the room very small. I likedthe design and use of the small space, but it was not adequate forcloset space.As the price of the room had been reduced from 249eur to 99eur the valuewas good. The room had one very very small window. you didnt now if the sun was shining or if it rained!Felt like you lived in a closet.The room was facing the main road so it was rather noisy. Breakfast wasnot included and was pricy. Bathroom was really nice, but a little bit strange: the door dindn't close, thus all the sounds from the bathroom were hered in the room, as well as smells.I think breakfast is too expensive for what they offer. We had only one time. Didn't bother me particularly, but the internal walls of the bathroom/toilet were glass. Mainly frosted, but there were clear parts too... Our room was pretty noisy as one of the windows wasn't well sealed. Friends were staying in two other rooms on the same corridor, also facing the main road, and their rooms were fine.The double room was very small. No minibar. Didn't like the construction that was going on an that there internet stayed messed up an we could never get on. Toilets/ bathroom not having option of pulling curtain over glass doors. Twin beds not really twins as beds are together. The instructions regarding the internet browsing through the TV were not clear that with the handset you can only search from pre-defined sites (i.e. no keyboard). There were no drink-making facilities in the room, or vending machines in the lobby - combined with the fact that there is no room service available.Bathroom was not very private. The walls of the bathroom (not only the shower) are made of glass, so you dont have privacy. Room rather small but ok for a short stay,we really only slept and showered there. bathroom floor and especially shower base were very slippery when using. the hotel staff could be more knowlegable. Breakfast not included as well as not being able to have a meal in the hotel. Rooms are very small. unable to get a proper single bed.
