  The staff were excellent and very helpful. It seemed the staff was the same every day, which was great because we got to know them and they remembered our room number and things like that. The food at the restaurant was excellent, and we loved the atmosphere of the bar - playing Chicago Jazz music! The room was very luxurious and equipped with eve... what people say » rything we needed, including blankets for sitting on the balcony and stargazing at night. The views are just gorgeous, even if it was a bit too misty - Location is wow. Brilliant views of the mountains. Staff though not always good at speaking English, but helpful. The in house chef offered to make me a sandwich at 12am as I was checking in. I requested an airport pickup and got one. Breakfast was good. Would stay here again.

  Amazing hospitality! The Peaceful Cottage 'team' showed genuine care and concern. The room was clean, spacious, and the towels/sheets/quilt were very clean and fresh. The dinner was absolutely fantastic. The chef, whom we called Facebook (because of the T-shirt he wore) treated us to the best chicken Momos and egg Thukpa we've had in a long long t... what people say » ime. Caron, the hotel owner and marketing Head, was always there, not being intrusive, yet being available any time we needed anything. The front offi - They say people makes a place. This is certainly true with Peaceful Cottage. Have travelled to over 30 countries and no place beats the friendliness and hospitality of this place. Stayed in the new wing where rooms are big with partial views of the Himalayas. Great roof terrace where I could've spent a whole day sitting there admiring the beautiful range. Manager Caron is a legend. He provides personalized service to all guests. We did a morning jog with a few others on my 1st day. Later we've

  The whole experience was exactly as we had hoped for from looking at the photos on booking .com and would highly recommend to stay at least one night.
