The staff were excellent and very helpful. It seemed the staff was the same every day, which was great because we got to know them and they remembered our room number and things like that. The food at the restaurant was excellent, and we loved the atmosphere of the bar - playing Chicago Jazz music! The room was very luxurious and equipped with everything we needed, including blankets for sitting on the balcony and stargazing at night. The views are just gorgeous, even if it was a bit too misty .
all reviews » Location is wow. Brilliant views of the mountains. Staff though not always good at speaking English, but helpful. The in house chef offered to make me a sandwich at 12am as I was checking in. I requested an airport pickup and got one. Breakfast was good. Would stay here again. Nice mountains view from the room. Probably the best momos ( dumplings) in the KTM valley. Front Office manager Raj Shrestha was very helpful in arranging our outdoor activity. Stayed in this hotel 11 years ago. Amazing sunrise views. Nothing. they dont have elevators so you have to climb the stairs everyday, and at such altitude it's quite hard. the buffet breakfast and dinner do not really have much choice. but charge is reasonable. Difficult in English communication with a staff. -Bed Sheets had a peculiar repellent smell which was a bit unpleasant. I suggest the Hotel uses fabric perfumes. Maybe the swimming pool water a bit warmer And the jacuzzi with more bubbles. The food. The buffet breakfast served were the same everyday.. Breakfast and dinner buffets catered too much to tourist. I would have liked to see more local choices. The wifi in the room need to be paid. Nothing. No free in-room wifi service. Grossly under loaded not worth the money Business suite in Radisson Kathmandu we got for 110 usd Staff does not have attitude to serve breakfast is pathetic all your managers were eating with the guests and that too together -- no one available to supervuse. Rooms were slightly dirty, shower curtains smelly and towels stained; food in the restaurant was average.
