  I searched for a while for a suitable hotel, normally my husband and I book into a 5 star resort or luxury self catering when we have the children (2,6) with us. This trip was adults only and I wanted accommodation that really represented the best of Morocco. Dar Sultan definitely delivered! If you want to stay in a cozy, clean, romantic, hideaway... what people say » that oooozes character and charm then this is the place. We spent a lot of time chilling out in our roof top room with undeniably the best view of th - The rooms were uniquely furnished with colorful textiles, rugs and antiques. Treats were left for guests each day and rose petals scattered about on the bedclothes. The rooftop lounge area gave good views. Location quiet and convienient. Included breakfast was to die for. Real care was taken for our every comfort. Very clean and charming house cat.

  The hotel had soundproofed rooms, which are necessary in Tangier. Stayed in another hotel in the same area and there was a lot of noise, incredibly tiring. The beds in IBIS is good and the wifi worked well. What impressed me most was the breakfast. Simple with good quality. Very good job by the staff during breakfast. I think unfortunately this is n - The regular Ibis quality. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good price, enough room size, great location and a large parking area. Very comfortable bed and clean room. İf you are planning whole trip on the way like us, the wifi in Ibis's are going to be your best friend :)

  This is a beautiful little "dar" on the north side of Chefchaoen. We stayed in a triple and found it very affordable. Very easy walk up to the mosque, which we highly recommend.   it is such a beautiful place to stay, the lovely owner has taken such care to make every detail beautifully uniqur. i like that the rooms are all individually designed. its a nice quiet place to stay, and in such a great location buried inside the old medina. the roof is a lovely place to go, and if we had more time, i would have definitely taken ... what people say » advantage of the calm above the bustling streets. breakfast was delicious served on the roof in the morning sun. a really lovely place, im looking for - If you want to immerse yourself in the local culture and people then this is for you. Right in the middle of the Medina, fabulous for shopping for ornaments, throws/blankets, cooking tagines, etc. People very friendly, but you have to barter and be prepared to say "no". If you are looking to buy something in particular, ask Rachid at the hotel; he was very helpful and actually took us shopping. Gilles, the owner very welcoming too. Would definitely go back.

  We stayed here for 2 nights on the advice of our guidebook which said that this riad is absolutely perfect and I would have to agree! It’s a beautifully decorated riad, with friendly and helpful staff who speak English. They have a fireplace which was nice in February in the mountains and the room had a good heater. Very easy to find and well- mar... what people say » ked – though I’d recommend coming from Bab Souk as the riad is a bit closer to this than other medina entrances. Possibly the nicest roof of any riad - The staff was incredibly helpful....we were coming to Chefchaouen by private car and were unable to find our way to the entrance ....one of the guys came down to the town....bopped in our car and led us to the parking area and helped us take our bags to the Dar. The breakfast is hearty and fresh...much more than a typical carb overload...and the ambiance is lovely; fireplace going in the chilly morning...great terrasse to relax and take the sun in the afternoon . Great value and quite charming

  Our favourite hotel, revisiting after a break of approx. 12 years. It belongs to another age (a living museum). Has none of the modern expectations of lifts to the various floors, swimming pool, piped music etc. Belongs to its wonderful setting at the edge of the Tangier Medina with a wonderful view of the Bay of Tangier and the port. Perhaps,... what people say » because of its lack of modernity it remains remarkably cheap. - This hotel was absolutely beautiful! It is a wonderful deal. You can tell that previously the hotel was much grander, but it is still a great place. The rooms were clean, the staff was very helpful and could speak many languages, and the breakfast was in a beautiful room with an outstanding view overlooking the sea! I would definitely stay here again.

  My friend and I had a great stay in this hotel. We had a lovely room and were so impressed with the staff. Mohammad was fantastic. He even gave us a walking tour around the city and took us out at night to Marina beach and a night club. The food is really good. Home cooked Moroccan cuisine. We had lunch there, a lovely 3 course meal at a very rea... what people say » sonable price. I recommend this hotel to anyone coming to tetouan. We wish we could have stayed longer! - First of all Abdul's hospitality, the best kind. The location the most suitable, at the core of a genuine non-tourist medina. Abdul was also introducing us to the curious story of the beautiful Riad, a recovered, very well taste recovered residence of a Dutch Consul. Beautiful environment and very confortable rooms. I would advise the Riad's cuisine with quite enthusiasm!
