This is a beautiful little "dar" on the north side of Chefchaoen. We stayed in a triple and found it very affordable. Very easy walk up to the mosque, which we highly recommend. Traditional Moroccan decor, gorgeous little fountain in the living room. We stayed in the summer time and found it to be not too hot at all -- can't attest to winter. The rooftop patio is beautiful and offers great views of both mountain and town of Chefchaoen. Also, it has parking right at the dar, which makes it mu.
all reviews » Very good location. The property is well restored and tastefully decorated, with a beautiful fireplace in the communal area that was fired up each night of our stay. Oil heaters are supplied in the bedrooms to take the chill off winter nights. Owner and staff are superbly helpful - we booked multiple nights and received a very generous upgrade. As with the previous review, we were driven to the bus station on our final day and the owner helped to purchase tickets and negotiate the cost for ba. The Riat was nice and well decorated. Abdul, the hotel manager, was very friendly and helpfull with us even if we arrived late in the night. The breakfast that we had in the beautiful terrace was delicious. You can park in the place that is close to the riat paying 20 dirhams (2euro) per night. Location was great! It is situated just outside the medina so it's quiet but close to all the action at the same time. We took the room with a terrace and it was a fantastic place to relax. The Moroccan breakfast was wonderful with a good selection of pastries to sample. Abdul the manager of Dar Darli was excellent. He went out of h way to make us feel comfortable and enjoy your stay. My daughter was sick while we were here. He organised the doctor and Farmacia for us. It would have been very difficult without him to help. I liked that it was near the village waterfall and it was a little furtehr away from the hassle of the main square so a little more tranquile. It had character and had a great roof top with excellent views where you are served breakfast. Abdul at reception was consistently helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was wonderful. The room was spacious and had en-suite with reliable hot water. The location is convenient, and the view from the terrace is great. Remi and Abdul were absolutely amazing and went out of their way to make sure we felt at home. The rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Would not hesitate to recommend. Dar Dalia is in a lovely location just near the river in Chefchaouene and only a short walk into the main part of town. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast on the rooftop was delicious. Accommodations were superb and staff was very friendly and straight forward. Very clean environment and near to most all city sites. Would gladly visit again. Abdul is a fantastic host. Extremely helpful, no request was too big or small. Food was great and the location close to the waterfall is magical. Nice design with a good view of the city from terrace rooftop. Lovely place to stay in the heart of the old city. Everything. Nice place - good value for money. The views from the terrace. It can be a bit hard to find if you are a first timer -- the road to the Dar is very narrow -- but we just kept asking locals and they all pointed us right too it. We could stay more than one day because of our route. Wifi cannot be reached from the room. If you are really picky then maybe the noisy kids playing outside would annoy you. The weather, which we don't expect Dar Dalia to be able to control. The hot water in our room was a bit hit and miss and the wifi signal didn't reach all the way upstairs so we had to go into the shared space to check internet. They also don't take credit cards as it suggest on letsbookhotel.com so we had to pay with cash unexpectedly!. Nothing. Water heater is not enough for four person to share as we booked the four people room. its difficult to find the hostel, take a taxi, its cheap. too small doors everywhere (like in the Shire). Shower was a bit basic.
