The foyer is an excellent feature, visually an oasis from the heat, with water features, plants, an aquarium, armchairs & tables to relax & wait at & the whole foyer is beautifully scented. For some maybe cloying but we loved it. The hotel is perfectly situated to old historical Melaka, most everything that we were interested in was very easy walking distance. An excellent car park with plenty of room to manouvre vehicles, also a Security guard on duty 24/7. The staff were very help.

The wifi didn't work in room but there was a good signal in the lobby where there was comfortable seating so not really a problem. Difficult locate the hotel.Maybe a more visible billboard may be useful.The toiletry system was noisy when in use. Could have more English channels on TV. There was no hair dryer in the room only upon request. Hair dryer was also not reliable. After about 5 min of using it, it stops functioning. Not much to do in the hotel as they don't have pool nor gym, as other hotel that charge this much has these facilities. no lift to superior room level 1 so had to drag suit case up stairs. Nothing wrong with the hotel as such, but it lacks character. breakfast buffet, not many choice. shd put up shower screen in order to keep the bath dry n clean. old dirty carpet, room not the same as shown on its website,poor TV reception and limited channels, room lighting poor, no room service and cafe closed.
