Very convenient since it located in the town area. It is a walking distance to the shopping mall and to the famous riverside. Will go again for leisure trip with my family. Best location next to Kuching Waterfront. Easy to access other spots. For older folks, easy to walk around as it is on level ground, no hills or steep roads nearby. Since they are fully book, we were upgraded to executive floor. Breakfast selection was vast and delicious. Walking distance to many interesting and good food.

The room is spacious, well maintained, cleaned and comfortable. The hotel is close to Kuching City Waterfront and shopping complexes. Good location for a reasonable rate. This hotel didn't aware that they are providing dirty stain towel. just one thing. when I asked for a fork & spoon (because there were no spoon on the dining table) from a coat-wearing coffeehouse staff in the coffee house, she said to me, "do you see that guy in orange shirt?" I said, "yes, I see him." Then she said, "you can get the spoon from him." I said, WOW!". The room is a bit old but it's clean. room facing the main road was a bit noisy. public transport, need taxi or rental car. Wifi was quite slow in peak evening hours, made a Google Hangout for business difficult. basic toilet facilities and light controller were not properly maintained. The room carpet very old and smelly need to be change. An obvious decline in general since the days when it was part of Holiday Inn. Probably nothing to complain. At the moment...nothing. The shower is outdated with a bathtub and showerhead you cannot take off. The noise of the huge airco(?) machine downstairs outside, underneath my room 326. Even after i had changed rooms to another side of the building (415) I could still hear it. Sound insulation would be good. Shower lever was broken, iron stain in the room, and slight discolouration of sheets. One night on Saturday the amplified Karaoke audio on the opposite riverbank until midnight was penetrating and annoying. I complained to the Hotel. They offered to change our room to the front facing traffic which we did not take. Rooms in dire need of refurbishment,especially the bathrooms. Would have to agree with other reviews posted The Hotel is not 4 star. the outside noise karaoke from across the river in day light. WiFi a bit slow. Should beautify the space(road) between the hotel and the Sarawak Plaza. Never pick up phone expecially customer serviced n room service.(my own experience). Not much choice for TV channel. 1. I had my 1year daughter along and the baby chair condition in the restaurant was terrible. 2. The outdoor swimming pool and playground were mediocre. The alley smells of non-properly dried carpet. Upon entry, the same smell (even stronger) greeted us as well. We were on the executive floor.Very poor breakfast,same each day and usually no eggs unless ordered especially.No extras such as biscuits during the day.Milk was off one day as it is left outside the fridge.The room safe did not work was offered another room which was on lower floor and smaller.Declined and kept asking for the safe to be repaired eventually it was.Did not feel it was worth the cost. No smoking room not available. Noise from big machines (airco?) outside Tour desk staff very difficult, not helpful at all, even telling lies. I little too old. Room condition very bad and very dirty. Waiting long hour for late check in at 4pm only. But given an old room with dust around and dirty carpet like no cleaning for long time. Bath room condition also very bad with malfunction water pipe which has no hot water supply. Finally, we moved to another room but still a dirty room which can see hairy everyway especially the carpet. Won't recommend this hotel to anyone. - Poor sound insulation (noise of outside and inside the hotel) - Poorly maintened bedroom (old carpet, unpleasant smell even with a non-smoking room). quite poor breakfast menu, cups in the room were used, towel was dirty. It took staff about an hour and 2 phone calls to replace cups and towels. Wi fi signal was weak. Receptionists were rather indifferent to us. Unauthorized cleaning of my room no. 727 even without me requesting. The lounge is not open all days on the excutive floor for guests to use. can'T get room facing to sarawak river. Lights didn't work properly, and kept breaking down even when fixed. No alternative room offered Got locked out of room as the door's key system broke down Noise - bands playing for functions, really loud and until late Some mold in bathroom Room not really clean. It's so hard to get assistance by call. try to call many time but didn't answer. Small room. Old carpet. Arrived hotel my booking was not confirmed. executive room without free mineral water, ask only they send to d room. Staff not that friendly. Food at exe. lounge is not meet d standard. Pullman is much better. Carpet smells. Room old. Some Front Desk Staff Not friendly.
