The facilities in the room like 5 stars hotel. The shower and bathtub in the bathroom are so impressive. All staff are very friendly. The room service staff who is wearing badge number 17 also very nice spoken to me. The Fine Dining Restaurant also has excellent menu especially Western food. The price of the room is very affordable. Maybe the hotel management should review the decision to put the Bible (New Testament) in the drawer in the room because not all the guests are Christians.So, we ca.
all reviews » I like the fact that we were upgraded to a deluxe room and that the room was very spacious. The television also had many channels and the reception for all the channels was clear. The breakfast was also ala-carte so this saved us from eating too much. There was also a sofa that could be turned into a flat mattress. The hotel is also located near some halal restaurants but you do have to use a car to reach all these places. The service provided by hotel staff is excellent and the hotel staff is helpful accomodating and friendly.the room is spacious and it has a perfect ambiance of relaxation and yes it is hygenic.the hotel also provided complete facilities and offers affordable rate for the room.i would definitely would love and looking forward to come to this hotel again. As visitors to Ipoh and being new to the place we found the staff at regalodge very helpful in assisting us with directions and recommendations of places to eat. Location is quite near to the food places, such as the famous Ipoh beansprout chicken rice. Rooms are of a good size, lots of different channels of TV. Complimentrary snacks and drinks. Breakfast is a la carte, not a buffet. You get to select one set only, but it was good. Very clean and comfortable, it exceeded my expectations given the price (it was on promotion when I booked). Miscommunication between housekeeping and front desk ? I left behind a scarf and blouse - first call said they didn't have them. Was very sure I left the stuff behind. We called again and this time they confirmed the items were at the front desk. Not enough carpark. Nothing that we didn't like. not so clean during my time. there a lot of long hair. Room is quite small for family with young children.No space for walking even with or whithout adding the extra bed. No room slipper provided. Floor passage way is stuffy.bed slides away when one sit up to read. Smelling of the 'colok' at the corridor. When I came I smelled something and I think it was because of the wooden floor. However it was clean and the smell was gone. Once I flushed the toilet but the water that came out was chocolate. I had to flush again. Less parking area. In a room near the elevator very disturbing annoyingly powerful sound of the bell, we had to move to another room - luckily seamlessly. Kitchen staff was slow and did not serve us after 40 minutes of waiting. We had to leave due to our schedule. The waiter was kind enough to pack for us some bread and the hotel manager refunded our breakfast after learning that we did not consume it. I felt that the way the hotel handled the incident was very nice. Perhaps I should put this incident in the “What did you like?” Box. The toilet bowl dont have water paip to wash after we have done. no swimming pool at the hotel. Car park - Came back late night no more parking bays I had to park my car outside hotel premis. room a bit small. nothing to say. furnitures were a little old.
