staff were friendly and helpful, free shuttle bus in and out of city, great location, right on the beach and choice of lovely swimming pools if the beach isn't your thing. There was a huge choice at the breakfast buffet, but get there early as it gets pretty crowded as the morning goes on. Lovely sea view from room, and room itself was spacious and comfortable. Nice room with a balcony facing the sea. Clean beach and several pools. Excellent breakfast, a wide variety of different food. The resort is about 20 minutes drive away from the city. A free shuttle bus runs to Aqaba center and back several times a day and once late in the evening.
all reviews » The family room on the south end (number 107, 108) is perfectly located and is spacious enough for a family of 4. Like the layout. Easy access to pools, beach and pretty much everything around the hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. Excellent new hotel: luxuous and romantic. Rooms are clean, well equiped, with a balcony. Free shuttle to the city center. The hotel is located just in front of the coral reef, perfect for snorkelling. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. We did have several issues with our room-tv and refridgerator didn't work, and no sheets for the pull out bed, but the staff responded quickly and were very efficient. It was a beautiful hotel and the breakfast was amazing. We enjoyed our short stay at the hotel. The room was specious and tastefully decorated. The beach staff was very friendly and welcoming. The price of extras at the resort was reasonable. We would definitively come back there. The hotel's staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel's restaurant is expensive, as well as the others around. Room description included bathrobe and slippers, but there were none. I wish they would pay more attention to cleaning the drapes and the walls. It's a lovely hotel. I've stayed there numerous times. Will still stay there again and again. It would be nice if when opening the drapes I don't have to discover smudges of what appears to be ketchup or chocolate. Same goes for the walls in the rooms. I've seen this in a few of the rooms I stayed in. Dinner at the buffet a bit expensive, especially compared to restaurants in the city center. we had to wait for 3 and 1/2 hours for our 2nd room to be ready which was inconvenient. Also it is frustrating that they have 5 pools and there is only one wading pool for children and one much older, very crowded pool that the children were allowed to be in while the other pools were empty. That wasn't very family friendly. The sea is a bit dirty in Jordan, we saw some garbage on the bottom. Egyptian shore is better. Loud music at night was very annoying. This hotel is extremely far from the city center. I think if one arrives very closely to check in time the drawback would be that there are queues and one needs to wait. But they kindly offer you a refresher drink, so it tells they do care. We didn't get into our room for 2.5 hours (at least) after check in due to room not being ready, then second room try was smoking room (and not ready) that smelled very badly, third room had someone in it when they brought us there and finally fourth room was nice. Manager gave us a discount but he should have given us the first night free it was so much trouble getting into the room (or at least a free dinner for all of our troulbes when we were so tired... The price should have been lower since it's a dead season. Corridors between rooms, especially some insects and lizards. Garage door does not open with electricity (opens manually by the person). Rooms are bit small . My wife was pragnant and got tired . I went out to get her dinner and they refused to allow me enter the hotel. The manager behaved in a bad way asking ques like how many sandwishes !!. The lack of extra beds and towels and toileteries. Some amnities do not suit the eastern conservative people for example the curtains are translucent and the bath seat has no cleaning shower. i caught the housekeeping a couple of times re-hanging the towels from the floor to the wall, instead of giving us new ones. there is no water park, just a couple of swimming pools with no additional things for the kids aside of swimming. snorkeling is really bad, unless you like looking at trash and garbage. no diving on site. you cannot have your own shisha, you have to use theirs which will coast you about 9 JD with the taxes and service. quality of people at that time of the year.......very strange atmosphere. Room was not clean when we first arrived. Our room did not have hot water. Although the staff tried to fix the issue, it still took 5-6 minutes of running the tap before the hot water came. &Quot;Superior family apartment rm" is not an apartment but just 2 connected rooms - a bit misleading. check in service very poor, no information about where to go we were left to find our rooms with no map or escort. looked very disorganized at the check in desk, many people waiting and no information. room service was not up to standards, many times complained about Mosquitos no response, or concerns from staff. my daughter developed allergy to mosquitos bites no clinic after 8 pm. the cleaning of the room was coming at 2:00 pm which is late, it should be when we go to breakfast morning. I asked the staff to take me a tour inside the hotel by the small cars being in front of the hotel, but they said that they are busy!. Unavailabity if supplies in the rooms like tooth brushes paper and all restorants doesn't provide paper napcens and very limited restorants options and only one pool is heated. Bathroom finish was sub standard. Bedding was dirty, floor was dirty. Carpet rug was filthy. We complained and were moved to another room. Flower display in lobby was dead. Cleaning was zero the housekeeping need more training our room was soo dirty dusty ,spiders home in sheet lamp ,covers and sheet have many dirty spot even it is washed ,employee in the restaurant need more training I feel like I paid money for 1 star ,hotel for service .information upon check in must be given about all the hotel. It not a family oriented hotel and the staff not well educated how to deal with kids! Staff in general are not freindly with families & kids!. worst toilets ever in the room. Staff was very rude. Services were horrible. Forward thinking was absent, response times were very lengthy. Resort is close to a polluted toxic industrial area.. If u go to the beach of resort on the left side u can see chimneys with fumes. The area is hidden by a little hill there is a chemical industry and a refinery. dont do to tala bay chech g oogle aqaba industrial area images. it a shame of underdevolep countries like jorda that a resort area is close to a toxic zone hidden by a hill. bad staff. When I arrived there was no welcoming drinks and the room was not ready on time and when it was the mini bar was empty and no drinking water or sheets to dry after a bath or a face wash. The staff were not friendly at all and unproffissional they were screeming at each other and slow in helping customers. The hotel should get 3* stars Not 5 stars Not clean if you ask for help it took them more than hour to come to your room The food is so baaaaaaaad. Not installing a hand shower in the toilets is totally unacceptable and not hygenic at all. The hotel was not so hygenic. I saw many disgusting insects like cockroachs near the lacks at night.
