Great hotel with lovely staff. We were immediately upgraded as a cause of our room not being ready at arrival. Great beds and very good sound isolation, you couldn't hear a thing from outside or from the neighbors. Lovely beach as well. A big plus is also the shuttle bus that goes several times a day to the other Mövenpick in Tala Bay. What did we like? In a word... Everything! We were met with glasses of cold juice on arrival and told that we had been upgraded to a suite. The rooms and facility were immaculate, and the complimentary breakfast was overwhelming in terms of choices. What impressed us most was the value for the money. We will definitely be back!.
all reviews » They were excellent. Dad was unwell and they did everything they could to make our stay and his stay more comfortable. They upgraded for free which was great. They staff were excellent and in comparison to the movenpick in the Dead Sea, everything was far better. The hotel has everything you need! The staff is very helpful and speaks excellent English. We were upgraded and had a perfect sea view. The beach and the pools were perfect! Nothing at all to complain about. Everything :-) great place, beautiful area and Country, used it as our base to visit Israel and Jordan. visited during Ramadan so prices where must cheaper than normal. also got upgraded to a suite. Location treatment of reception staff and providing the roof without delay although our plane arrived early in the morning. The room space was excellent, the pools were very nice for the kinds and for us. The design of the rooms. kids facility, comfortable location, provide all kinds activity for family members. location in down town. I like the location near the down Town. Our bedroom door would not close, but this was fixed the day after. Lap pool was closed due to maintenance during the holy month. it was over crowded. Breakfast spread was very average. Check in staff never smiled and weren't very accommodating. There was also a huge line at the check-in area always (which may be why they weren't happy). No major issues but the reception did not pick the phone many times. Not enough towels. We kept asking for towels and had a long wait for them. people (men) completely dressed on the beach, lying on a sunbed...i felt watched at. Staff at the pool Lots of people coming to the pool so it was dificult to find a long chair. The private beach not really nice. Tala bay was better. Nothing! I just loved it. nothing. More expensive than we had anticipated and too many flies!!. Breakfast buffet; too crowded, could be a better organised setup. room service and housekeeping cleanliness restaurant services. Restaurants closing way too early, the red-sea grill said to be closing at 12:00 AM however I went there at 10:45 PM and they said they are closed, room service food was below average. Response from the staff was slow, took them more than two hours to get an extra blanket after several follow-ups, staff was very picky about what food we buy from outside and we get to our rooms, had to argue that with them too many times, not professional at all!!!. free Internet was not available in rooms. morning room service only. we where fasting so we requested early breakfast (Sohour) and that was very bad for 3 star Hotel. The employees are not so well trained. The extra bed we order since check-in was sent at 9pm after I made two calls to the GS center. The employee only sent the bed and forgot the toothbrush kit, bath towels and other stuffs that were supposedly to be delivered alone with the bed. The young gentleman from RS came there times to my room to deliver all the stuffs needed. That you cant bring your own food to the hotel and your own drinks to the room, and the fact that you beg the staff to fix the internet connection... And that you buy the package online and they never mention what is allowed and what is not... Breakfast was disorganized, requiring a hunt for coffee, milk, cup, spoon, glass, bowl etc. Pity because the food was fine. level of other guests during my stay, crowded with guests, poor service in general, level of cleanliness was poor,. service was very bad. I do not like the staff either the reception or the room service and the cleaning staff .just take a look under your bed uou can understand how dirty it is look to yhe bath room and the towels you can just take a look how dirty is the shower I well not give this hotel 3or 4stsrs maximum I well not rpeat thid experiens.
