You are welcomed by smiles and a happy greeting, a joke and playful eyes. The staff of the hotel, including the manager, are amazing. I chose the hotel after reading reviews here and decided to share my views. I have to say that the people of this establishment make up for everything. We're travelers who are used to basic conditions and this place was almost luxurious for us :) still with a low price tag :) Great value for money, rooms are huge and nice. Breakfast has a big selection of fresh and tasty food. It was a great place to relax after hiking in Petra and Wadi Rum for over a week. Very good location. Definitely can recommend going to the Berenice Beach, just don't forget your snorkeling mask! :). The staff is incredibly helpful - they had vouchers for a private beach that included lunch which was a great deal and there was a free shuttle to the beach and back. Breakfast was also included. THey upgraded us upon arrival to a bigger room so we could have a balcony free of charge and also let us have a very late check out free of charge. They recommended a restuarant for dinner as well that was amazing and when we dropped their name included a free appetizer! Fantastic experience!. Excellent hotel, considering being 3 stars, its an excellent hotel, room very very spacious, clean and tidy. Cleaning was done on a daily basis with change of linen and towels.Staff are very polite, friendly and helpfull, breakfast buffet was very good for a 3 stars hotel.Very big thak you to Abdulla And Mahmoud from the reception, they were both very helpfull. Clean, neat rooms with good air conditioning in a great central location in Aqaba with lots of great restaurants, cafes and grocery stores around. Small but decent and fresh breakfast spread. Very friendly staff that spoke good English - gave us clear directions to reach the hotel by car - something we haven't had in most other hotels we stayed at in Jordan. Helped us book a submarine tour to see the coral reefs. This worked out great as an overnight for us between crossing from Israel late day and heading to Wadi Rum the next morning. Aqaba is very different than Eilat and the price is definitely right! Location was good for a quick walk around town and there are a bunch of restaurants on the block. Room was plenty clean and comfortable and they had a nice breakfast in the morning. We had a triple and double room combined in a suite, excellent for families. Great value. We tried to organise an overnight trip to Wadi Rum, but all they did was show us a piece of paper detailing an unimpressive and overpriced option. We ended up organising our trip through the hotel we had stayed in in Petra, despite the fact that we had left there several days previously. The breakfast was a bit repetitive - we stayed 3 nights and had exactly the same every morning. A variation of eggs would have been good - an omelette cooked to order or scrambled eggs maybe - boiled all the time. It was pretty noisy (street noise, honking, music, etc) until 11pm. Noise from room to room and from in the hallway was also rather loud - so no sleeping in. Not on the water, it's a blocks few away from the beach. Nothing. Breakfast was not of much variety and not that tasty. No shower gel and no hairdryer in the bathroom (not a big deal). No parking area. Nothing to refer. Very hard to find for travellers not used to the city. Would help to tell people that this was near the Hilton Doubletree and the Days Inn - we would have been able to find it had we known that information ahead of time. Hard to find people who spoke english to help us with directions. the couch in our room was very old, which gave the whole room a old feeling. nothing. Nothing. No cheese for breakfast. little bit outdated room and facilities. Nothing. It can be a little noisy at times through the early part of the night, but after 1am it starts to go quiet. It was not an issue for us. Rooms were outdated but comfortable for the one night that we were there. The shower... Water pressure very low.
