What people say
The uniqueness of a capsule hotel had some appeal to me. It was
pretty much as expected.Cheap tariff, clean, friendly helpful staff
to a non Japanese guest, other guests seemed nice.A Good place to
stay if you just want a bed and don't want to spend too much time
in your room. The capsules have a pull down blind at the entrance,
not a latched/locked door - not nearly as claustrophobic as I
thought it might be. all reviews »
Handy to the station, cheap, and a proper slice of Japanese business
life for foreigners to experience! Although the communal bathing
experience might be a bit much for some...
24h traditional japanese bathroom in the basement. Comfortable bed and a relaxing sleep.
Friendliness at the reception and cleanliness everywhere.
Free, fully loaded, in-house bath house.
The Japanese baths did it for me.
Japanese life style.
My capsule had a power point which was really good, and the bed itself and the pillows were fairly comfortable. I wasn't travelling with very much, so the locker size was ok.
Communal bathing took a bit of getting use to despite the excellent
spacious facilities however this is the nature of the hotel. I would
definitely stay there again if I went back to Tokyo by myself.
Capsules can get quite warm, not sure the ventilation in mine was
working correctly.
Old fashioned style, small locker.
No free WiFi!!!!.
Hardly any.
Would not recommend for longer than 2 days, as you can start feeling claustrophobic.
Old people's reseptionest.
I got a bit lost trying to find it and the capsules only have mesh roller doors.
