Wifi signal throughout hotel and rooms was strong. Staff were very friendly and room was neat. Bathroom was very clean. Value for money, great location, 5 mins from the JR Ikebukuro Stn. Free breakfast! And lots of restaurants within walking distance. 24 hour convenient stores are in every corner and Sunshine City is only about 15 minutes walk away. The room I was in was huge (in Tokyo standards), I had more than enough room for my luggage and could even fit in a spare bed if I wanted to. Every.
all reviews » Good Location, But Ikkebukuro station with North Exit does not have lift or elevator that made me hard to drag the suitcase. But hotel is very good, clean and convenient. The location is good very near to the JR Ikebukuro station west exit. There are many cheap resturants near by so it is easy to find place to eat if you want to save money. great wifi access, free breakfast, new facilities. close to JR Ikebukuro station means you are close to everywhere in Tokyo. The staff was very helpfull even with the language barriers. Breakfast was good and the kitchen staff was wonderful. the room is very clean and staff are nice and helpful. the location is good, very near the train station. Staffs are very helpful. The inn is very easy to find, just walk 3-4 mins from metor station. Clean and new, although the room is small. Breakfast is decent. The cleanliness and the wi-fi. The room I was in was a smoking room. I booked it because it was cheaper. It had a slight smell as I entered the room but once I turned the A/C on, the smell was even more apparent. I am not a smoker so it was a bit uncomfortable. But if you are a smoker, it should suit you fine! The mattress was kind of hard as well. Those are the only two complaints but they were not a problem at all to me. the room is quiet small but it's ok and fit for the price. Staffs' English are so bad they even can't understand what is April means... chk in time 1600 is quite late compare to the other same type hotel. And chk out time is 1000 means I have to wake up really early to pack bags on the last day. Not really relaxing actually. I asked for 2 rooms next to each other as we were 4 people, and at the end the kids were staying on another floor. it's inconvience that keys must be kept in the counter everytime you go out. Everything is good unless the room is too small. The staff were not very friendly. - weak wifi internet signal. The room is very small.
