The receptionist was extremely helpful and caring without being intrusive.
All that we thought we needed - it was right there for us. The bathrooms and toilets were really clean and they were always accessible despite being common to all guests.
The tatami room smelled wonderful and it was a pleasure sleeping on the hard floor although we are not used to it.
What a wonderful place to stay! If somebody wants to feel some Japanese
culture I do recommend this ryokan! I would definitely come back here
with a pleasure! The staff very helpful and nice. We had also lots of
additional information about Kyoto from them.all reviews »
Nice room on a little garden courtyard, quiet traditional accommodations in a convenient but not noisy location. Helpful staff with good English language skills. Kitchen facilities, refrigerator and washer/dryer very useful. Nice guide book library.
Tatami and Yukata gave a flair of the japanese life style.
Staff was very friendly and helpful!.
I didn't find anything what I could complain about.
The shared bathroom setup is a little idiosyncratic, certainly clean, but oddly arranged, though one gets used to it.
Walls not completely sound proof.
