Considering that it is very difficult to carry bags in Venice and that it is difficult to find someone to help, this is a great advantage.   Generator was a great place to stay in Venice. Even though it is on Giudecca, there is a vaporetto stop near the hostel and getting to St. Mark's Square is quick and easy. Staff were generally helpful and made a special effort to help us locate a lost piece of luggage at the airport. We stayed in a 4 bed with an en suite bathroom that was clean, s... what people say » pacious, and had a great view. The lobby was inviting and modern, and the breakfast is a good value. Certainly better than your average budget hostel. - They helped me to charge my phone when my cable got broken. Very comfortable beds with lights that don't disturb others. Quite cheap, good breakfast for additional price. It was a half-populated 16 person dorm, but it was comfortable to stay there. It is on a separate island from the city center, but public transport is working all the night so it's not a problem.

  The location of this hotel was absolutely great! Just a 40-minute ride from Venezia Santa Lucia station by vaporetto and you are in the very heart of Venice. Our room faced the inner court so it was very silent, the room was large with old fashioned furniture which gave us retro feeling - it was nice. It was a bit humid in the room but the manager... what people say » turned the air conditioner on so it became warm and dry. Hairdryers are given on request but you have to give them back every morning. The bed was no - The place is easy to find and easy to go to everywhere. The single room is big enough for one person and is clean. They make it clean everyday. Even though it is shared bathroom I found it not very busily used so I don't have to wait for long. But you need bring your own shampoo and showering gel.

  Location was excellent . Our room had a canal view which was unique. Noisy if windows open but new windows shut out the noise. Very clean and looked like the picture. Ea - Location within Venice was great, less than 5 min walk to Rialto Bridge. Room was a great size, with instantly hot shower - have heard that in Venice you can get both a small room and bad water pressure but no issues on this side. Staff very helpful, we got to check in early as the room was ready and they kept our bags safe on the last day until late at night. Also ate in the restaurant which was good food, staff here more than helpful as the terrace flooded during high tide and they piggy back

  I actually had booked this hotel as the rate was one of the lowest in Venice Center, however I was not quite sure as the photos on letsbookhotel.com does not look so good. However, this modest hotel is quite clean and I guess managed by family. The personnel is quite friendly, and the hotel is very central. If you are looking for a luxury, then you should choose another hotel. - As soon as you step inside you feel the friendliness and warmth of a family-based business. We had a room with a canal view, the beds were cozy and the shower great - all of this more than made up for the humble furnishings. Just 5 minutes from the station, and the restaurant next door is good. We won't bother looking anywhere else for our stays in Venice.

  A well kept secret - superb find. sadly looks as if it is no longer a secret. Whilst rooms may be on the small side, plenty big enough and bed comfortable. Bonus was that our bathroom was not ensuite, which probably gave us more room and a larger bathroom as well.   I really Love this place! Wow! Although some people said the photo doesnt look the same like in reality, trust me, my room (room number 3) look exactly the same like in the picture. And I dont even understand why I only pay 50 euro per night. The bathroom is spacious and clean and new. The room looks fancy and luxurious. The place itself looks rom... what people say » antic. The breakfast is nicely served. The location is very central. And to make it perfect, the receptionist lady is very nice! - The room was well-kept and quite large, with a comfortable bed, large flat screen tv, and a mini fridge. The bathroom was wonderful! There was a jacuzzi tub in ours, as well as a double sink and lots of room. The breakfast was good, with many options.

It's like a family hotel with a garden inside and beautiful shared living room just near the river; room is clean and quiet; the price seems economical; and the stuff are very very friendly and approaching who helped me a lot, (like introduce the way ... what people say » around, how to get to train station, where is the convenient store nearby, how to set the safe box and access to the wifi, etc, etc...)
