everything, the hotel itself, the staff, the environment, the location, etc. comfortable, central, good service ( breakfast ). The hotel location was very good.It was just 2 minutes walking from the main venice train station. Staff was very helpful and fluent in English.Breakfast was superb. especialy the location being at the centre of venice.... secondly the staff i would give 110 out of 100 .....the cleanliness and the breakfast was fabulous......
all reviews » It's a terrific location only 2 blocks from the rr station and theticket office for boat service. The room and bathroom were large andcomfortable. The room is beautifull and it is in the middle of the old city.close to the train station, good service, clean and comfortable room. The Hotel market itself as Hotel Stella Alpina but their signage at thefront says Edelweis, it was extremely difficult to find. It doesn't give you that Italian feel of things.Shared bathroom, you have to wait if unlucky. None of the options for section 'during your stay at the hotel were you travellingas' apply to us. I was travelling with my adult Daughter. This is not a complaint, but an observation.Shower could have curtains. there is no hot water for drink during the day.Room too expensive for what it was. No blankets (!) just sheets, whichwas fine for the first hot nights but too cold for the last cold one.(Why not put extra blanket in one of the many empty drawers??). very fragile plastic bars for towels. Shared bathroom. Elevator is not available, hence efforts to up lift baggages via stair cases. Payment via visa is not available due to machine error, in subsequent I have settle payment by cash.low standard, not freshy ..
