The atmosphere and the staff were warm and friendly. We felt welcomed and really taken care of. I use to work in the same business and I can tell that people make a huge difference. We had a great time, so thank you Hotel Villa Rosa. Great job and we may sometimes come back. A small and friendly hotel. Perhaps a little run down but it adds to its charm. Nice Venetian decor in the rooms. Excellent location, very close to the train station, yet on a quiet, back street. Good breakfast selection. And super helpful staff.

Venice is a very expensive city, and the Villa Rosa is not a budget hotel, but it is good value. air conditioning was really good as it was so hot in Venice. We had help from a very nice young man who lived nearby and he couldn't find it. No lift. Furnishings in rooms were well worn. Mold in shower. There was no elevator. Bathroom very cramped and shower barely worked. Had to pay for wifi. Pas d'Internet dans la chambre, déco vieillotte. not much natural light in room. Room is not that big.
