Atmosphere of this Casa is very cosy. Rooms are beautiful. Staff is very friendly and polite. Location is excellent - just front of hotel is waterbusstation. Very quiet area, away from touristic hubub. We just feel in these 4 days-stay very very comfortable. Thanks again to sympathic Concetta & her Mamma. Even cat Tesla is cute like this hotel! :-) . The friendly staff, good location, clean rooms, comfortable beds, nice ambience, free internet. This is a great hotel. Concetta on the front desk was always ready to help and made us feel welcome. There is also a friendly cat called (I think) Teresa Carmelita living at the hotel who has charisma and will hang out with you.all reviews »
We especially liked the charm and character of the accommodation. Room was very spacious and the gentleman on reception spoke excellent English, which really helped. Location was superb as near to railway station, and all major sites but situated in a lovely quiet hideaway. What a find!!. Very cosy and charming little Casa. The staff is very friendly. We stayed during cold winter, thanks God the room was very warm and cosy. We felt very well everyday in this nice hotel. Even the hotel-cat is charming! Everything was okay. Thanks to staff - Concetta and her Mamma. :-) . The manager was genuinely interested in ensuring that our stay was the best possible. The air conditioner did work properly.Getting to the hotel was a bit diffcult, address not familiar, however its very near to St.Lucia and boat station. Probably a sign board at corners of roads would be very helpful. Reception close at 8 pm and open 8 am. In case of early departure, prearrange,ent is necessary.It was cold. A little hard to find, as our maps did not show the piazza the hotel was on. Breakfast OK but not great.rooms very small. Very hot...Breakfast in the room. Breakfast was not very filling - one small pastry and some biscuits.if the room could face the river that would be much better. Had the room right behind reception, and the doors were paper thin - wasvery loud during the day (peoples voices, foot traffic,etc). Onlyaccepted cash. Breakfast was limited, but sufficient. badthroom with shower curtain. A little hard to find but once I did - it was very easy to get around on public transit (water bus stop was 200 metres from door). The hotel reception is open from 0800h to 2000h so no early breakfast or any other help outside these hours.A bit difficult to find, better to have a sign somewhere before entering into the square. breakfirst. Very difficult to find the hotel. You only get a crossaint and a coffee for break fast. The aircondition was not very effective.

Travelling information
From the railway station:
just outside of the Railway-Station of venice ( santa lucia ) turn left,
walk on the main street lista di spagna for 300 meters till the guglie bridge. Before the guglie bridge, (don’t cross guglie bridge)turn left. Walk along the cannaregio canal for 150 meters cross the crea bridge and over the bridge turn left again, we are on the small square “ santa maria della pazienza at the civic number 565 we are.
In case if you like you have the public boat N. 42 and
you stop at “ crea “ Boat-Station, ( near the 3 archi bridge ) just 20 meters from our hotel.
From the airport of venice and also the airport of treviso:
Take the bus to piazzale roma
you can walk to the railwaystation or you can take the public boat N. 42 to crea boat station then see the above directions
