Lovely B&B clean,comfortable, Marco was fabulous and very knowledgable and made it very easy for us to find it by sending an email with very detailed instructions on how to get there, this was very valuable when you are in Venice, so many things are within easy walking distance, Rialto Bridge and Saint Mark's Square just to name a couple all in all we had a lovely stay. Hotel is very close to San Marco square. It is situated in a historic building with nice spacious rooms and is very clean and tidy. Italian breakfast in the morning is quite enough to keep you going. We liked everything. The only issue might be for people who have a lot of luggage, while this hotel is not equipped by the elevator - but it was not an issue for us.

But it was a beautiful room with a big comfy bed, at a great price in an unbelievable location, I don't think you could get a better location, near everything. We liked everything about our stay at Ca Loredan. The location is perfect and the room was nice, clean and comfortable. Marco was fantastic! gave us perfect directions on how to get there and helpful tips to make our stay in Venice spectacular. We will book again in the future. We loved Ca Loredan! It was a great location to explore all the sights of Venice. We felt extremely looked after by our host, who was available to answer any inquiry. The room was neat, clean and lovely. Aware that you need to check in before 17:00 otherwise you pay 40 Euro. Hot water was warm at best. Steep stairs, (no lift) but to be expected in old Italy. Very noisy -internally and externally. Can overlook this because of the price and location. Breakfast adequate. The building was very old. It was not easy to find the address when you walk from train station. It is better to go to the hotel by boat bus from train station. Shower was quite small and awkward- however we did select a smaller room so the other rooms might be better. The building has some stairs, so it might be difficult to carry luggage (although we were helped with this). The 9-5 check in timeframe is very strict, while it says it on the booking, it wasn't clear that if we don't turn up by 5 we won't be able to get in-this is unusual for a hotel. This added a lot of extra stress to our drive across Italy! The guy waited for us thankfully(but would only wait 15-20mins past 5) but wasn't very understanding or friendly about it. Very stressful start to the holiday after driving 6 or 7 hours & then having to negotiate the streets of Venice to find the place. Entrence of the Hotel is too dark. Not much. Breakfast started too late for me need my coffee earlier. Wish A/C had been a little more powerful. The breakfast. shower a bit cramped. Was a bad idea to get the room with roof access as we did not get a good view and it was constructed in such a way that we had to kneel in the bathtub to shower- we are not tall people. Shower was not hot and ran cold quite quickly. Definitely overpriced for the standard of the building/rooms. Not very clean. Not enough breakfast options (I am diabetic) Fruit was available on 1 day in the 10 I stayed No facilities to make tea/coffee in rooms Steep stairs (two flights) to carry luggage up. Signage to location of building v poor (the street signs don't match those described in the booking; The building was not at all recognisable from the Booking information photos because it is completely covered in scaffold and under full external renovation, hence it took us over an hour to find it even though at times we walked directly past it ! ; The ground floor was dirty from building dust;. we stayed in the room at roof floor, if you are a hobbit or smurf you can take a shower in the bath otherwise you could not do it. cleanless of the room was very bad, room and wardrope was full of dust, towels were very dirty. there is no reception and responsible person in the hotel after 5 pm, you only have to call in case of emergency. the service does not deserve the money that you paid. steps. Wi-fi doesn't work, no hot water, breakfast is poor. For this money in Paris you could find much-much better in the center.
