The location was perfect. Breakfast was very nice. Hotel upgrade was a treat. The location was perfect. Right in front of the station so there's no getting lost. The staff was very polite and helpful and thwy spoke English.reception staff were great and nothing was trouble for them. Breakfast did the job. Close to rail station but a few steps to cross on bridge. The heating in the room and the convenient situation.all reviews »
Central and convenient to the station and many sights. Entry from Hotel Canal. Location great. Was under renovation when we got there.Clean and good value for central venice location. Great satff. good location, easy to find, simple but clean. close to train station. I think the poor facilities are matching the price. There was mold in the bathroom. The room smelt of cigarette. Otherwise for the price I paid it was definately worth it!. no elevator, but that is Venice. Shower needs a bit of a clean. Doors banging. They should make the hotel garden more available. Room was very small but the location was great!!. Airconditioning not operating (only switched on during summer, i.e. june onwards, but May is already pretty hot), not kettle to boil water in the room (not allowed for safety reason). Some bad smell come from a window and fan. 1.There is no soap and shampoo holders in the shower room. 2. Ckt breakers for electrical outlets always trips off even with the use of small wattage device.

Our hotel is very easy to reach, we are just 3 minutes walking from Piazzale Roma, the terminal with car parking, buses and taxi and from Santa Lucia train station too.
From Piazzale Roma just follow the directions to S. Lucia Station, and you will find Hotel Airone after the second small bridge on the right hand; from the train station turn left and cross Scalzi bridge (the big one over the Gran Canal) and turn right, after 500 mt on the left, exactly on the opposite side of the canal, you will find Hotel Airone.
