Taking into account the explanatory notes regarding lack of lifts and the type of accommodation (1*/pensione style), you get what you pay for. In this case, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality, the provision of tea/coffee-making facilities in the room (single, ensuite) and the overall service. It was in a perfect location, extremely close to the train station, don't take a taxi - it's an easy walk with rolling luggage, we walked under the street and popped up to avoid the big intersection. And it is perfect location to walk and explore the city - It offered free wi-fi which was very nice.
