Maria was terrific! She greeted with a smile and was fantastic at showing us where to go and what to do in florence! The hotel is very close to the train station and was very quiet. Fantastic location!.

The terrace is wonderful for a prosecco in the evening and also for breakfast.

The fact we couldn't stay longer.
There isn't a proper working lift so we struggled to take up our suitcases as lots of stairs. One of the staff wasn't very helpful or kind. We only had one day / night and when I asked for tips of what to , she said we wouldn't have time to see anything. Needless to say we loved Florence and all of the sights.
Beware, this is not a hotel. It's an apartment that rents its rooms. It does not offer a check in desk, so I had to wait outside for an employee to open the apartment for me. They ask your phone number to comunicate and schedule your arrival, which is specialy difficult to non european guests.

The bathroom was small with no space where to put things.
Complicated with heavy luggage because of the lift not ending at the floor.
