The hotel is like a european version of a mini W hotel.. very modern with great bathrooms relative to typical Italian lodgings. The shower/bath/water pressure = fantastic. Breakfast buffet = lovely andpretty typical for an Italian hotel. The waitstaff were exceptionally nice. The location=very convenient... 3 blocks from Piazza San Marco and a 10 min walk to il Duomo.. Free internet!. The location of the Hotel was excellent and in walking distance to the centre square and train station. It was easy to have dinner in local restaurants as they were located in the vicinity of the hotel as was the shopping area and tourist attractions like the statue of David. I would recommend this hotel for any future clients as our family really enjoyed our stay there.

Getting the air conditioning to work was a bit challenging at the beginning, but it was very nice otherwise.not having a pool, but then I realise space is at a premium in the city centre... the lack of cofee set and ironing board is slightly dissapointing. The location is a bit far from the centre of the tourist attractions (15-20 minutes walk), but one can take the bus 1A to the Dumo area (about 3 stops) and the bus stop is just outside the hotel. On main road but not too noisy. Get a room with balcony and your room will not be onto the main road. No coffee making facilities.The price compared to last time was much higher, but I was told it was high season. breakfast area is small but with nice water fall view. Apple computer could not be connected to hotel network. Is a litlle far fron thr Duomo. Little variety at breakfast. Too small for a 4* hotel. very modern art hotel but everything was a bit uncomfortable. Front side very noisy. Choice for breakfast could be better (bread). I have a experience with one person in the reception ,he was so rude with me and make me feel so inconfortable.

By Car:
- From the A1, exit Firenze Nord and follow the directions for the city centre.
- Take Viale Guidoni, and after 1 km turn right in Via Forlanini.
- At the roundabout turn left in Viale Redi. Proceed straight until the end of the street.
- Reaching Viale Belfiore turn left in Via Guido Monaco and left again at the first traffic light on Viale Rosselli.
- Follow the route around the Fortezza da Basso. Then at the first traffic lights go straight on Viale Lavagnini.
