  Very friendly and generous hosts, Martin and Marian McDonagh really looked after us in their cosy B&B. Comfortable room and excellent breakfast.   What an amazing stay we had at the Castle Mews. We didn't actually meet the amazing Dolores until the morning at breakfast (she had to pick up her 'scallywag son' - her delightful words), but she left helpful voice mails & notes at the house and my friend & I were able to get settled in & ready with no problem. After a LATE night out at the castle feast & Durty Nellies we stumbled in for our (thankfully) late breaky and had the be - The owner of the Mews is such a sweet heart. So very welcoming! The mews is a real interesting place and the breakfast is to your heart content! The mews is literally 10 mins walk from the castle. No car needed. If you attend a late banquet, don't forget to pack a torch with you for your way back!

We had booked our reservation on-line 5 minutes before we showed up at their door and we were greeted as if we were friends they'd been expecting for months.   Very friendly staff at reception on checking in, and out. Got an upgrade, really appreciated! Unfortunately had to leave very early next morning! - The ambiance of the whole place is so restful. It is very quiet, the food is excellent and the staff are very helpful and polite.

  The location of the hotel is excellent. There is a large kitchen and a large fridge. You can cook like all the people staying there did. You need to clean-up and do the dishes after the meal. There is relaxing area where you can read, watch TV, play certain games, etc. The rooms and the toilets are clean and in very good condition. We lived there as a Family, in a big room with own bathroom. Great cooking and kitchen facilities, eventhough we didn't use them, the hotel food was too great.   We travelled to Ennis for the Fleadh Nua music festival on a budget and found the hostel to be just what we wanted. We took a family room with en-suite shower room for a week. Clean, comfortable, the staff were all friendly and helpful. The cooking facilities were well laid out and kept scrupulously clean despite the number of people passing thr... what people say » ough. The hostel is situated just on the edge of the town centre so close to everything you want to see and close to music sessions but still quiet e - The room was very decent, the common areas were warm and friendly and the kitchen was spacious and very well equipped. Breakfasts were fairly plain (cereal and milk, toast, butter, jam, tea/coffee, orange juice and scones were offered) but plentiful and completely sufficient for our needs. The internet connection was excellent on the ground floor. The staff was extremely helpful and nice, and the location very scenic.   Two hotels in one, had some of the characteristics of fawtly Towers in the nicest possible way. The staff were really excellent and yet very comfortably laid back. Going from one hotel to the other to check in, to stay in the other hotel to having breakfast in the other hotel and there is this young guy who is the spit of basil.
