Yes as a group we were very impressed and will be recommending it to others. We went to Lifford Dog Track and came back to Letterkenny to finish off the night. Very enjoyable night was had by all. Also the Hotel itself is very accessible and tastefully decorated. The receptionist was exceptional. Everything about Gallagher's from its location to the service provided was excellent. This hotel is definitely the best value for money, staff were also more than helpful and friendly.all reviews »
Excellent location, hotel/bar staff extremely friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel, definitely use it again if I make it to Letterkenny again. The food was excellent in both Bistro and bar suppers. The bar staff were very pleasant. The choice of smoking or non smoking rooms. The staff were very friendly. Rooms were very bright and comfortable. Lovely area for sightseeing. To be recommended. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. Great location and friendly efficient staff. Rooms were clean and nicely furnished. We had a wonderful stay! The Staff were amazing and so friendly. We would definitely stay at the Hotel again. . I liked the friendliness of the staff from check in to check out, the rooms were very comfortable and also the bath was a welcome suprise. I was very central to everything we has planned for our stay, the staff were very frendly and helpful.excellent location choice of bars and resturants . The hotel also had its own carpark. central location, good restaurant and bar, modern room fixtures, beds, etc. the staff were very friendly, the room was nice and the food was nice. stayed before very central walking distance of everything. Well done.parking was non existent on that weekend. When I booked online I added to the notes that I would like a room with a view if possible as it was a special occassion (my husbands birthday), and the room we were given looked onto a wall, 4 feet from our window, not exactly what I thought we would get.Though I was told the hotel had wifi throughout the entire hotel I could not get a signal in my room, however there were a few seated areas in the hallways where I could sit and use my laptop. sausages!. somr guests a bit noisy. I asked for a wake-up call at 9:00 a.m. but received one at 1:00 a.m. instead that woke me way before I needed to be up. I figured the desk clerk misunderstood me and called down again to request to be woken in the morning.the bathroom was poorly designed making it very cramped. There was a mix-up on our bill at check-out but it was resolved to our satisfaction. the d j was not very pleasant in the bar. having to take two elavators to get to level 3. Taking the first one to level 2 then walking down the hall to get the next one to level 3.
