Very clean and modern B&B. Super friendly staff. Nice room and yummy breakfast. Highly recommend if you'll be staying around Kilkenny. It's not really within walking distance to City Center but they have a phone in the entrance area to easily call a cab (cost is about 10 Euro to get to the castle right near the town). We had a great last night in Ireland here. It was one of the best places we stayed at across our 10 day trip.
all reviews » Rooms were clean, there was a place to visit with other guests, very friendly owners, great breakfast, very clean, even though on a main street it was definitely quiet, convenient to reach with a car, able to have tea or coffee any time of the day/evening. loved this place! cleanest place i have ever stayed, you could literally have eaten off the floor. rooms were small but very comfy and the husband and wife team were super great. a little out of the main town but that was kind of nice, the town was loud. Very clean and nicely decorated room. Great breakfast and Thomas was a wonderful host. Kilkenny was our favorite town in Ireland. There is Kilkenny castle, much shopping and many pubs & restaurants. One of our favorite restaurants was Kyterly Inn. Service was super friendly and courteous. Made us feel welcome and very comfortable. This place was immaculate! Our room set us up for disappointment at all the other b and bs we stayed at throughout our trip thru Ireland. Highly recommend this place. The BB was very clean. We were traveling with our adult daughter, what a surprise to find the family room had two bathrooms. The host was charming,and very interesting. Breakfast was probably the best meal we have had in Ireland. Room was spotless and reasonable size. Breakfast was lovely. Tea and coffee available in the lounge which is a nice touch. Owners were friendly and very well informed about Kilkenny and surrounding areas. Plenty of space for parking. Nice size room with excellent facilities. Very good breakfast. Overall a quality B & B with friendly and inviting hosts. The host and hostess were very friendly and hospitable. I enjoyed their home and their company. The accommodations were excellent. I will go back. Pat was a mind of information about the area and offered very valuable advice on where to go & what to do. Priceless. The visit met all our expectations. The shower head needed fixing. The house was 2 km away from the town centre. Nothing. shower lacked pressure, but did its job. Not that close to town. Got lost coming back to BB. Not much at all!. I really tried to find something wrong.....I Couldn't!. TV did not work properly, difficult to find location. Only 1 outlet in room. room too small. breakfast was boring. We stayed at 5 B&Bs most were $35 per night with a great reception. Very friendly hosts who shared tea or coffee and snacks while asking us our interest. Someone carried our luggage up stairs. Stairs at your facility were very difficult.
