Easy transportation to the airport. Good location. friendly staff, clean and cheap room. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The staff was friendly and the brekfast was delicious. I recommend this hotel close to the city center !. The hotel was really 5 minutes walk from Dublin's city centre, It was clean and comfortable and best of all was excellent value. It was very convenient to the main shopping and sites. The staff were extremely friendly and nothing was a problem to them. Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable room and excellent breakfast. Excellent location for city centre.A friendly small hotel close to City centre. Accessible to stations and centre. Convenience to bus and city centre. friendly staff, good value. very good breakfast!. The breakfast, the nearness to the main attractions and the fact that it was surrounded by shops to buy food and places where to use internet and make phone calls. It was really cosy and it was comfortable to be there. The staff was friendly, always smiling and ready to explain and solve whatever I needed. It was very central and close to everything. We really liked the pink toilet and washbasin. It looked neat!. friendly reception staff good breakfast clean room and bathroom good value ideal location. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The shower in our room was fantastic!. Good city centre location, friendly staff. Location, cost, facilities. Staff response was immediate when we had problems with the hot water. Breakfast first thing in the morning in the hotel before heading out for the day; breakfast was very good. Temporary luggage storage at the hotel after checking out until it was time for us to depart to our next location. It was close to the city centre and the miss at the reception was friendly and pollied. Great location and good price. Nice breakfast. good location for discovering Dublin on foot. Hotel was always warm, rooms clean and tidy. near to city centre. nice front desk.,. near by city center. most things. Breakfast was included in the price. Good supply of hot water. Close to city centre. free tea and coffee. Nice, open staff. smoking room. central location, near bus station , business/ pubs area and all the monuments by foot; bathroom refurbished; cleanliness; pleasant atmosphere; breakfast included, correct althought poor.I like,no bar in hotel.Hotel facility is just enough and all necessary things are available.I felt secure mind. Friendly staff. The full Irish breakfast. Convenient city centre location. well located for my needs on this visit to Dublin. Localization.Good location. The Staff . The young lady on reception helped us with our room change. And at Breakfast all staff very happy.Location. The hotel is situated ideally for visiting Dublin. The beds were very comfortable.Good location (5 minutes walk from O'Connel Street)-Hotel staff was kind; good irish breakfast, but not so about the poor continental one. Large room.Complimentary tea and coffee. Nice and helpful staff. Good location, just a couple of minutes walking from O'Connell street and really well communicated with the airport. Location and price facilities are fit for price. hotel staff. location. the bed.and the shower, fortunately the water was hot. Great central location, though a bit seedy. Only let down to an otherwise good hotel was the poor breakfast. It is advertised as a full Irish breakfast but it was nothing like...one egg, one slice of bacon, one small cold burger which was supposed to be white pudding but definitely wasn't, two chipolata sausages and beans. The best thing was you could have as much toast and tea as you wanted so we just filled up on that. The Televison connection was not the best. we did stay mid week so it was lovely and quiet but it could be a noisy area on a weekend. Only the fact that there was no air conditioning in the rooms. On one of the hotest days the room was quite hot and even with the windows open it was still stuffy. Traffic noise from road but to be expected in the centre of the city. Wasn't bad enough to stop us sleeping!!. The hotel will be greatly benefitted when the side which was the original Maple hotel is renovated to the same standard as the original Othello which which it has amalgamated. At present only the Dining room has been upgraded. Great value. The smallness of the room. My bed was not made and some light bulbs didn't work. Our room overlooked the main road and the early morning traffic was very noisy.Early check-out time - 11am... There was no one available to assist with taking the luggage up the stairs.TV didn't work, bathroom was in fair condition. In a top floor room so lots of stairs !!!. breakfast was not so good, continental was poor. Toast burned, when we asked for eggs we have got the answer that the kitchen is too busy to do it. was the ony thing to complain about. small hotel room. the windows were old and not not fully close so the noise of the street could not be shut off. very noisy, and the heating was on in the room even though it was july and warm outside. Small, cramped room. Smell of stale cigarette smoke, or something like it. Washbasin too small. Television positioned at a great height for comfortable viewing. Basic and no bar facility. Very noisy hotel. sometimes there was no water pressure in the toilet. Only cold water in shower, small room, uncomfortable corridor to rooms, one bed creaks a lot. Perfect to save money, to know the city and to spend only some hours in the hotel. Comparatively with Asian Hotels, hospitality is just normal, not very warmly welcome.Traffic noise. Double glazing could have been better. My room was in the lower ground area , quite dingy, outlook was an untidy back yard.I was travelling alone, so they gave me a very small room. It was like sleeping in a corridor, terrible! I´ve asked to change my room. I suggest them not to give this room to anyone, that´s ridiculous. Our room was on the ground foor and there was some serious noise coming from the alley the whole night. There wasn't curtains on the windows, so we had to hang towels there to keep the light out. I booked the hotel and "free car park" 3 weeks earlier, but their car park was full, so we had to park the car in a nearby carpark and pay for it.The room was tiny and smelt. The bathroom was even tiner and was constantly damp. The bathroom. No hot water. Plus press button taps Hate Them, Whyhave Them?. Our room smelled damp.Radiator was uncomfortably sited close to bed head (possibly dangerous). All the staff are Polish, my travelling companians were disappointed, having heard so much of the friendliness of the Irish. There was however one Irish lady working in the Hotel who we only saw once. She was very helpful in helping us to decide where to eat. Did not get the traditional Irish feel for the place as on previous visits to Dublin.Poor continental breakfast; Large room, although without any furniture except for the bed (no chairs); the room (and bathroom) was not throughly cleaned everyday (just upon your arrival), the bed was re-made uncarefully, and only bath towels were changed. Really noisy rooms. Dark and old-fashioned furniture. Staffs are very bad.Especially male staff is worst. He couldn't answer question about his city and also unsociable. noise due to old windows and cigarette smell. no lift and narrow stairs to carry up baggage, our resevation was not submitted on our arrivale day. The room was very small and in the basement with a view of a fire escape filled with rubbish. Lights didnt work, the heating worked only intermittently and there was no toilet tissue. The full Irish breakfast consisted of only two sausages, a slice of bacon, one egg, cold beans and black pudding. The room was directly under reception and next to the kitchen, so noisy all night.yes,i didnt like that when they forget to give coffees and milks after we used them.and they always gave us less towels that we should need.we got 2 except 3 all the time, and i did mention that but they still couldnt organise after that. Noisy, too hot and a neon sign outside the window was kept on all night without proper blinds to darken the room.
