This hotel was fantastic. From the front door through to reception was professional yet incredibly welcoming. The rooms were ready earlier than promised. interconnecting rooms were very spacious. Deluxe harbour view rooms with great vista over the nightly laser show. 3 kids in one room nice and secure and we had privacy too. Tried room service - great food, and timing. Had breakfast down at the buffet and I don't think I have ever had a better buffet breakfast presented. The limo servic.
all reviews » We stayed in the room with the harbour view and loved it. We were cellebreting our wedding anniversary and the hotel made us feel really special. They offered me flowers when I got to the hotel and the next day when we got back in the evening there were champagne and chocolate with a card signed for all the staff. Very kind ! All the staff has an exceptional attention to the guests, always aware of everything ir order to helping the guests. Next time in HK we'll definetly stay at Shangri-La. Pe. We hada great stay at the hotel and the staff couldn't do enough to assist with anything we needed. They were polite, friendly and informative from the moment we arrived. Our room was perfect and had everything we neede for an enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend this hotel for the staff amd location to the city. We had a meal in the Hotel on the last night of our stay and the food was top class. The locationis great. Kowloon is perfect place to stay for shopping/restaurants. Tried italian and japanese restaurants in hotel. Both were wonderful! Breakfast is nice! A big variety of fresh juices. Expected a room to cater for the third person, not just fitting them in a room design for two. The roll away bed became an obstacle to move around the room to avoid tripping. Swimming pool is very small and crowded all the time. The elevators are a bit slow and the cards/keys to the room's floors aren't always very accurate. Sauna and hamam are separate for women and men, meaning me and my girlfriend could not do it together. Door man not good in service. - no twin room even though it was requested. No parking slot was provided even for the booking of a Suite, which caused us a great deal of inconvenience for our wedding preparation. The staff could be more helpful too. No outdoor poor and the indoor pool was very small. Awful smell in the bathroom (room #1249). With out nit picking Nothing. Leisure facilities. Nothing. Nothing to mention. Thought is was pricey,hidden extras. Poor swimming pool and no bidet in the bathroom. - The Swimming Pool - A bit expensive for Food & Facilities. Not impressed with the Chinese restaurant. more restaurants to serve indian and mediteranian food could make the hotel more attractive. Nothing to dislike. Rooms were not cleaned, refreshed or re done by 3:30pm when we came back to the hotel. Same in our friends room. I found the bed too hard. Spa facility noisy and not serene. No good products. Too small and not relaxing. N/A. As usual, good service and quality accomodation comes at a price. Buffet a bit chaotic. Poor food options for gluten free. Difficult to say. Rather pricy, but in nyc or Moscow or Paris you won't get half as much for the same money. medium buffet breakfast in lounge. The pool is a joke, simply too small to swim.
