Amazing location (although a little difficult to find) with an envious view! One of the best sunsets I had was from the porch of our room. The room is actually an apartment - very spacious and tastefully decorated. The host live in the same building and are very hospitable and extremely friendly. I cant say enough about the cleanliness of and the beautiful view from the apartment. Breakfast that was provided was sufficient enough and the hosts catered to our every request without hesitation. all reviews » The location is fantastic. The window is just facing the sea, and you can enjoy the breathtaking view of Aegean Sea, sunset, old port and panoramic view of Fira even in the room. And you can get to the restaurants, shops, supermarket, bank, bus terminal within max. 5 minutes. All the thing in the apartment are new and stylish. Personally, I love the apartment very much. The owner of the apartment, family Vessily, are very friendly and helpful. Very nice meeting them. I believe I'll chose to st. Excellent location with great views over the caldera. The bedroom on the first floor gave excellent views from the small window. Wake up in the morning to the sight of a couple of cruise ships docked close to the caldera. Bliss! Also worth watching the sunset from your own bedroom!! The apartment is elegant being furnished with a very sophisticated touch. Everything was new. The apartment was kept very clean. The bed was very comfortable. A short walk to the buzz of Fira. They offered perfect breakfast every morning at exactly time I requested(Additional Option), it takes 5-7min from Pira center and the view was really fantastic. The most thing my mom liked was that the room was really really cleaned as pic! I didn't much expect any good service since the accomodation price is pretty cheaper, but staff's service were very nice and took care of our staying. If you want nice view and cleaned apartment, I would like to recommend here strongly. Very fantastic location, nice landlord. They give us very good impression: nice couple, impressive sunset and funny donkey riding passing from our place. We would definitely consider coming back! This is a family business hotel, and make you feel like home.They treat us red wine and some snacks. Also, when I has a stomach problem, they give me some sweet pills to help me stop pain. PS:You´d better contact the landlord in the checking time before you arrive. It was a wonderful experience to spend a nignt there. The room is fantastic, I like the style very much. And I'm sure it is the new couple wanted! The owner is a middle-aged couple, they are very patient and very kind. They do their best to offer all the information to you about Santorini. Most important, you can have your breakfast while enjoying the seaview. Very worthy the price! If I'll go Santorini again, I definitely will chose this hotel as well. It's a short walk to the city centre. The family that is running the apartments offered superb hospitality. We had to leave early on our last day to catch the 7am flight to Athens and the host offered to make breakfast for us, it was a really sweet gesture. The rooms are very clean and we really love the sunset from our room. I would highly recommend it to anyone who plans to visit Santorini for honeymoon. Breakfast with a view =). Spotless, gorgeous gray-and-white decor with a domed ceiling in an 1865 building that was once the harbour masters house, lovely modern fittings including a fridge and sink, loft bedroom that looks like something from a magazine, with a view to die for, on the caldera edge. Owners are very nice, served us breakfast on the patio so we could enjoy the view. wonderful location that close to Fira bus station and perfect view for sunset. the furniture management is exquisite and sweet . the owner couple are kind and friendly, providing local tourist map and good suggestion abt the scenic spots once reached. moreover, the owner gave us a bottle of wine for gift as he knew we were going on our honey moon :). The hotel is so sweeet! It's really so nice, well decorated with candles, seashells. It's very romantic! There also was a CD with romantic music which was so sweet! Archontiko apartments was a great place to stay. Everything was spotless, and created a great atmosphere. The views from the window were beautiful, and all in all it was a wonderful place to stay and I would stay in these apartments again. The location is excellent because it is very close to the cliff, but a little bit to find it. The room itself is also very nice, spacious, very clean and the decoration is good. The price is also really cheap at that good location. Very clean with good location just outside the restaurant and bar district, so relatively quiet but yet with proximity to everything. Nothing at all except that I would ask the owner to post signs to find the apartment more easily. Sometimes the Wifi signal is not that stable. It is a few stairs climb down through narrow lanes. Can be difficult if you have heavy luggage. However, the owners can arrange for someone to carry it for you at a very small fee. Nothing. I still spent a lot of time to find it even the cab droped us nearby. It is just on the cliff. I think a more marked guiding sign would help. No problem for us (mom and 20 year old daughter), but there are 54 steps down to the hotel (like many hotels on the caldera edge), and the stairs to the loft are more like a ladder, so if you have mobility issues this may not be the place for you. nothing. Nothing. Split level with bedroom above. Stairs to bedroom quite steep so could trouble some people. Breakfast fails in quality. I would be ready to pay slightly more but get local produce (cheese, olives, cherry tomatoes,natural yoghurt) instead of "plastic", pre-packed and processed food. I would not also recommend the place for the elderly, it could be strenuous to get there/from there and the stairs leading upstairs of the apartment are narrow and steep. The kitchenette is really just a bar fridge and a sink there is no toaster or microwave so not really a kitchenette. Not really a problem because of the abundance of restaurants. Also a little dinning table and chairs inside would have been nice. The furniture looks Nice but is not very comfortable to use. Quite a few steps down to property from taxi/bus. A bit difficult to find,,,we were lucky that one guy was on the way to pass by..so we followed him. Maybe the hotel needs to put some signs from the main road. Nothing. nothing.
