We stayed for 8 nights, during a trade show, with our two small dogs. The room was really good. You have a fridge, and a kettle, and a lot of storage space, and a nice bathroom with proper bath. The staff was very accommodating, giving us a remote room where our dogs did not disturb anyone even by chance. The location is 15 min walk from the main train station and about 7 min walk from the embarkment with a nice jogging path. This is really a good choice if you need a basecamp in Köln!.
all reviews » The hotel was booked with some trepidation as the location, using google street view, looked uninspiring. It is on a fairly busy road junction, but our room on the 6th floor was very quiet. The hotel stored our cycles in a store room inside. Facilities at the hotel were superb ... a well appointed kitchen with dishwasher, sink, and all the basic utensils plus bedroom and separate small lounge area with couch, tv, desk and small table. Great location for exploring the town. I liked the efficient service , in particular because we had a baggage that needed some minor repair and the hotel staff assisted is with that for no extra cost! This extra mile for service was definitely appreciated! And the next day, the reception staff whom I had asked for help originally with even remembered to ask me if I had managed to get my luggage fixed. Definitely an A for thoughtfulness !. Very warm. Very well done rooms. A lot of research has gone into equipping each room. As well as kitchen. I thought Europe would be business like with no emphasis on pleasant hospitality but you guys impressed me a great deal. If I had a choice I'd only book adagio. It offers me comfort and my own space. Thank you team Adagio at Cologne. The hotel is worth to its price. I have stayed one night during my 10 days benelux trip. I wish I can make it longer. But I just planed 1 day for Cologne. It s very clean, the apart room is superior with its facilities (there is a TV even in the bedroom.) Many 5 star hotels do not have the comfort that Adagio has;). The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful they even went to the effort of purhasing Gluten Free bread for their Buffet Breakfast for me. Could not have chosen a better placr to spend our time in Cologne. Also a great location walking distance to everything. Excellent value for money. Stayed for 5 nights to visit the Christmas markets which where all within walking distance. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the facilities were good and clean. Will definately be staying here again next year. Everything about this apartment hotel is excellent, the car park is cleaner than a lot of hotels you would stay in. Apartments have everything you need, the service is wonderful & it took us 10 mins to walk to the Dom. Perfect. Easy to find with great parking facilities underneath hotel. The immediate area is not exactly pretty and rooms facing the road could be a bit too loud. The bedroom had 2 single beds pushed together, & because the room was small, you couldn't shut the door between the bedroom & lounge area. Not a problem for us as we were travelling as a couple, but could be an irritation if you had a guest on the couch bed. The fridge door was a little difficult to open and even though there are cooking facilities, the room layout and chairs are not that conducive ( only one dining table chair!). Nothing. Except that fire alarms scared me the first day. Nothing. Everything is 10 over 10. Nothing, Everything was perfect. Nothing!. Appartment very well equipped except for a toaster!. Location on a busy noisy street was not good for sleeping. the fire alarm is too sensible: only cooking 2 wurstel made the alarm ring aloud and the fire man came! pay attention, even the steam from the dishwasher can activate the fire alarm. very awful expirience!!. Nothing, really. Tiny bit dusty; no oven in kitchen. Small rooms (by US standards). Bed is not soft. Also king bed is actually twinbed next to each other and it can move suddenly. Not comfortable. The breakfast was really below average for such cost. Good position, but slightly far away from metro. (However, we were unlucky with the weather). There is no daily room service for cleaning, or at least to change the beddings and bath towels. the bed's mattress was too hard, almost ubcomfortable. Staff not very hulpfull about the car park , a/c was not working only blowing air .. Under the bed was dusty also on tabels... They sigen us on afine of 1800 euro incase fire alarm treges which make worry all time. cooking appliances needed instructions air ventilation very noisy on 6th floor. Pillows. Nothing. small room. No swimming pool , gym is small. Was alot smaller than we expected as it looked bigger in the photos. Not really big enough for 4 adults and if you intended spending any time in the apartment you would go mad. Luckily we literally just slept there. Smoke alarms are very sensitive as smoke from a hot pan set it off. Luckily we phoned reception straight away and opened windows to let the smoke out so there was no huge panic when room was inspected. They clean the rooms once a week and charge you for better service. Possibly not the best area for a solo female during the evening. the room wasn't clean on sunday no clean towels. A little cramped not much space for luggage. Didn't like the way the toliet roll was so close to the toliet struggled to fit my fat arse in. Staff was unfriendly the man who working here was very unmannered. We had requested a taxi. After 45 minutes, still no sign of a taxi. also very small rooms.
