If you don't mind going without the typical hotel cleaning, conscierge or dining services, this offers lots of bright and airy space in a fabulous location at half the price of any of the nearby hotels. big, clean, new apartment with friendly and helpful owner. Apartment in excellent location in Mitte district close to everything of interest in Berlin. Wish I could have stayed longer! High recommended!.

The only thing we would wish for is some broadband access. Bathroom rather simple, door lock was problematic, small bedcovers ( I am 195 cm). The bed in the sleeping room was good except it was was a little narrow for two person!. Noise outside.Maybe some information on the close environments (bakery, coffee shop) inthe apartment?. We could have done with a fourth bed. The lift was broken on the fourth day which meant a walk up 6 flights of stairs for 2 days.No lift. Poor quality furniture and fittings, poor plumbing. it needed to say on the site that towels were provided. The curtains in the bedroom are flimsy; they did not give the privacy we wanted, and the morning light woke us up too early. Then the kitchen; yes it has a dishwasher, a washing machine and a microwave, but the kitchen unit and stove are really very basic. Furthermore the poor carpeting and curtains give the entire appartment the acoustics of a bathroom.The kitchen was not well equipped it was too poor and insufficient. The TV was very small and very few programs. The bed was not straight, had the feeling I was falling out, and the pillows were quite hard. Did not sleep very well...There should have been some curtains, very light in the bedroom, and not very cosy!. The owner of the hotel, although very friendly and helpful, owns 5 apartments in the same house and we unfortunately received the one with the least comfort. Poor furniture and decorations in an otherwise spacious apartment. Clean but otherwise empty and uninviting. Mosiquitos!!.
