I was actually amazed by the hotel. I hadn't expected this standard at all. The bathroom was just beautiful! And I have a particular bee in my bonnet about hotel bathrooms. It was the best hotel bathroom I've ever had the pleasure of using. The bed was also fabulous, slightly strange that they gave us two large single duvets rather than one double but it actually worked well so also in the positives side. all reviews » We chose this hotel both for location and price for a long, Xmas market weekend. On arrival, we were informed that our room rate (c€75/night) was inclusive of breakfast, soft drinks and hot drinks, which was a real bonus. Breakfast selection is fabulous, ranging from the usual cold buffet, cereals etc but also omelets made to order, bacon, sausages etc. Location is ideal for sightseeing by foot - Gestapo HQ, Berlin Wall etc only 10 minutes away, but of course you can also hop on/hop off the sig. This hotel is great. It is situated nearby Potsdamer Platz, Topography of Terror, 10 minutes walks to both direction. 15 minutes walk to Charlie check point. It is oriented toward park and next to Tempodrom and Aquadrom which makes very peacefull environment. I would surely recommend to anyone this hotel since it is in a great location, kind stuff, comfortable and new rooms, very clean. Will come back here for sure if I ever come back to Berlin. And I really do hope so! The room I booked was supposed to be 32 square metres but the one I got was only 25sqm and when I asked at reception, I was told there were no other rooms available. The separate doonas on the King bed kept falling off. Wifi (internet) in the rooms would be a nice touch. I drove to this hotel and parking was at a premium. The location is not bad, but it's nowhere near Potsdamer Platz, as suggested by the hotel's name. Expect a good 20 minute walk from Potsdamer Platz. - No free WiFi in the room was annoying - Sky Sport channel was not good and had no sound. Breakfast very expensive. Didn't eat there but in a nearby cafe with all you can eat breakfast for 4,90 €. Breakfast and WiFi not included, they could easily be part of the package; Only one shampoo/ shower soap provided in the bathroom;. Would have been better if we had free wifi in the room. Absence of hotel parking. Hotel lobby appears to be a bit empty and cold. Lack of free wi-if Internet in the rooms. Surrounding areas a bit boring. Nothing, it was really nice. The wifi let me log on but didn't work in the room, and there is no conditioner with the toiletries, but they were small things. This hotel deserves a "Grand Entrance" with a better appointed lobby. The rotational main enterance door should be automatic to ease the passing through with luggages. Info and service for the breakfast, nobody proposed me for coffee or thee or explain how to get it. We reported that the TV did not work but it was not fixed as promised. Used coffee cup and glass were not replaced. Spa and fitness area had not been finished as hotel is brand new. Wifi wasn't free, though I read it was. May have been for the most expensive room though. We had a double rooma nd would have liked one large bed instead of two pushed together. Wifi is available only in the loby which is not comfortable. The breakfast is very expesive. Pretty far away from the center, though there is transport nearby. breakfast not included, free wifi in the lobby only — come on, it's 2013 already!. To charge for Wi-Fi internet is just ridiculous. It is a 4 start hotel that dare to charge the super expensive fee of 11 euro for the internet service. This is not the 90's anymore. Internet service is cheap and should be free. There are several simpler hotels that don't charge for this service. You should be ashamed of making the customers go down to access a slow and unstable internet connect at the reception area.
