The location was fantastic: 5-10 minute walk to Potzdammer Platz, Checkpoint Charlie, somthing of Terror (takes you through the history of how Hitler started to how it was ended) 15-20 minute walk to Brandenburger Tor, Reichstag (German parliment building) Although being close to everything the hotel is out of the way on a quite street which i found fantastic as you are not awoken by drunks of passing traffic. The hotel is also big on health!!! Most hotels would put a chocolate on your pillo.
all reviews » The hotel was in a great location, right on the doorstep of all the main attractions of Berlin and even opposite the Topography of Terrors Museum. The staff were very friendly and helpful and always polite and could speak perfect English. They even rang a restaurant for ten minutes trying to get us a reservation. The room was very spacious and clean and had all the facilities you would require.Convenience of the "big" sites in Berlin such as Potsdamer Platz, Brandenburger Tor, Unter den Linden. Public transport was also very close and the number of different restaurants was also a plus. We were thrilled with our room - it was a large and roomy suite with two bathrooms and very unusual at this particular price point. Room was quiet as it overlooked the courtyard. that we had the children near to us - on opposite - and that we could close the door in the hall so it looked like a suite. The hotel was quiet, very comfortable and people were very friendly and helpfull.Location location location! Very close to popular landmarks. Transport was also great - close to hotel. We also had a nice view from our room. As pessoas do hotel sao muito simpaticas, o hotel eh bem limpo, cama boa, muitissimo bem localizado, dá pra fazer tudo a pé dali...Very welcoming staff and access to S bahn for siteseeing with still being in a quiet part of Berlin. Like i said before if you are lucky like me you could park right outside but if not i find €17 WAAAAAAYYYYYY TOO HIGH. We were delighted with our stay and have no complaints - one small criticism was that the carpet was rather badly stained and could have benefited from a clean. For 4 people 60 euros for breakfast is a lot. We dont eat that much. In the bathroom (floor 6) you smell the toilet which isnt very nice if you are in the bathtop. LImited hours for steam/sauna. breakfasr was not included in the price. No free internet access in rooms (there's a free wlan available in public areas but it didn't work very well). Food and drink are a little expensive, but no more than normal for hotels. For some reason the housekeeper kept walking in the room without knocking. My room was a double and not a twin, bed was separated. Was accidentally charged twice for breakfast. but it was sorted out without any problem, so not really!. None. air conditioning did not seem to work too well. Had to pass a smoking area to get to room. Views not good from some rooms, mini bar prices, eating in hotel was expensive so we went out every night. smoking inside the hotel, our room smelled cigarettes the first day. The breakfast, while delicious, was a bit pricey.We haven`t any parking place to park, because they have only a small parking place. Its not right by the bars/restaurants (but it is close to other tourist attractions). no i was quite happy with everything.
