This is a beautiful hotel. The pictures on their web site are exactly what the rooms and common areas look like. The furnishings were very top of the line and everything was spotless. The beds were very comfortable and the temperature in the room was perfect. The staff could not have been more helpful and were extremely knowledgable about everything. All their recommendations were perfect. Absolutely everything. Staff attitude is professional and extremelyhelpful. Newly renovated hotel is decorated beautifully and tastefully.The breakfast area is a pleasure to be in and the lovely asian peoplewho run this part of the hotel are to be commended for their desire toplease. Fantastic. The helpfulness from the staff concerning booking restaurants and their consideration and general attitude throughout the stay. This was fine but could have been better communicated. We weren't sure what to do at breakfast in terms of whether it was a buffet or waitress service. It seems a common language that all the guests, no matter what country, could communicate in. The breakfast time seem a bit disorganized and could be streamlined a bit so that there are always clean tables during the rush. Not enough ice from room service. The room was a bit small, but then that's Paris hotels all over. Also,perhaps because it would interfere with the designer look, we had no teaor coffee facilities in the room. All minor quibbles. You cannot get an iron and ironing board in the room and have to pay extortiate prices for laundry services. Ending up buying our own iron. Room was very small. We only stayed one night, so it was ok. Any longer,it would have been a problem. I think the food in the hotel was expensive but all the hotels in paris are like this -. Bedroom was small but aren't they all in Paris - apparently!. Rooms were a bit small but none the less well appointed.The bath tub was tight and the shower had a minimal water flow. as for all other hotels in center Paris, rooms are a bit small. tea making facilities would be good.A bit expensive - like Paris generally.
