The room was so lovely: warm and comfortable. The space was used very well and the room had a nice luxury to it. It can be hit and miss in a big city but this was just perfect for returning back to after a long day of business. The only pity was that I was stopping just one night!. The proximity to Gallerie Lafayette was excellent, along with the closeness to the Opera.m it was an easy walk to the Camps Elysees. The internet access in the room was very reliable. A little awkward was the washroom and shower were in different rooms.

We went for our honeymoon and everyone at the hotel was very pleasent and accomadating. The room was one of the nicest that I have stayed in. The staff are a real asset! I found the lobby to be dark and with the black marble floor, you had to be careful with your steps. Would have like tea and coffee in our room for the morning Thank you. i can't think of one. Nothing. Being in the centre of Paris, it was rather noisy. The room pretty small considering the high price we had to pay. It would be better to have a sh ower, not a bath tub. Very few people take a bath at the hotel, and everybody takes shower. Though I requested a shower, it was a bath tub. I didn't like the dim lighting and gloomy atmosphere, almost monastic. I didnt like the lack of parking. No jacuzzi, balcony doors did not open, no bidet. Some issue with the shower in the room, no work desk in room. Being directed to a "touristy" bistro when we asked for something more local. It wasn't great. Drinks at the bar were very expensive and no atmosphere. We were celebrating my 61st Birthday and our Ruby Wedding anniversary - we were offered room 604 - which was small and very dark - which I believe would be very suitable for one person on a business trip - my husband spoke to reception - we were given an alternative room (609) which was to our liking - unfortunately we were transferred to this room at 5pm as it was ready but was kindly offered a drink on the house at the bar for the inconvenience - the staff were excellent. room in front of elevator gives a lot of noise; gym is very small and not open 24hrs. Only double size bed, not queen. Shower flooded bathroom floor. The room service ,not to much choice (food). The rooms are small a bit. Dark Outside Noise. Expensive breakfast. People from other buildings can see me on the shower naked ... there is no cover on the window ... Small rooms ... Wifi was not working in my room ( 110 ). Wi-fi internet broke down during the weekend I stayed there, few impact to some businesses which I totally rely on from iPhone application (can't get online via lan cable) ... I booked the hotel partly because of wi-fi included. We have stayed twice before at The Banke. Service has gone down. Housekeeping was poor. Never swept or vacuumed carpet, careless about towels and sundries. my room was executive but small. that i payed cash for using the room bar . but you took also a same amount from my visa card . Pathetic gym(Shame), dingy room, no coffee maker, no stand for the luggage. Hotel interior. WIFI was "free" but very poor signal in the room.
