The nice and helpfull people in the reception. The hotel was steps from Gare du l'est subway. Although it isn't in the heart of Paris, being that close to a station which made it easy to get anywhere. The staff was very helpful when I asked for directions and planning my trips. The room was bigger than I thought it would be and very clean and quiet. The hotel is an excellent choice, especially if you are travelling on a budget.all reviews »
Very friendly personal; good central location; nice rooms. the location and the price. Location and cleanliness. The hotel is literally less that a minute walk from Gard L'Est and very conveniently located. The rates were also very reasonable. Clean tidy room, on the small side but we only stayed one night. Friendly and welcoming staff, great location for accessing trains and metro, comfortable bed.It is near the station. Its location is nice. location andthe staff was helpful. Good location in the city. OK location, 10 minute walk from Gare du Nord. Room quite bland but adequate for the price.I really enjoy to stay on the balcony windows and look at Montmatre in a wonderful day. Considering the price and location, this hotel has a nice quarity, but of course if you want to stay more relaxing and confortable room, you may not choose. Our bedroom was tiny and there was no air conditioning which made it quite uncomfortable.Breakfast not available till 7.30 . We had an early start. The hotel was quite old, could do with recarpting and painting, i found there was a lot of noise from th trafic in th street but this can't really be helped.unfortunately, the elevator was out of order and our room was on the 5th floor ... To small room. Very expensive internet connection (and not wireless as stated) - flat rate of 10 EUR/day regardless of how much time you need. The hotel needed air coniditioning - stayed in July and too hot - if opened windows too noisy.Walls where a bit thin and the room was not too big. Room and bath room are too small. There is a smell in the room. Simple breakfast.rooms very small and lots of traffic noise at night. very small rooms, poor isolation between rooms, no choice for TV cahnnels. the bed was very bad got back pain from it. the man at the reception desk did not understand (probably because of his French-English) at the moment of checking-in that we were going to stay for 4 nights(I even showed it with my fingers),charged us for 5,we did not notice the fact untill check-out. they did not give us the money back because they told us we had to check the amount of money we paid!!! Really not fair.there's no airconditioning in the room and it was a bit noisy in the rooms. Not clean. Very noisy.haven't got hot water enytime, the lift doesn't working. Toilet was dirty on arrival. Bed was old and uncomfortable. No kettle in the rooms.
