Supermarket very close by and quick convenience store just outside but only sells alcohol, fruit and water which is still convenient to have if you arrive late in the evening. Closes late. I brought my elderly mother to Villa Victoria for a short trip to Nice. It was very clean, modern, and quiet. The rooms and bathrooms we stayed in had plenty of space. The staff was helpful and my mother enjoyed it thoroughly. The location is very convenient as well. - The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly and spoke brilliant English.

Location was very good for us for the little amount of shopping we
needed to do in Nice. The Intermarche across the road for snacks and
drinks could not be better (shame they don't have chilled beer). The
closeness to the beach was also an asset after our exercise/swim in
the morning. Staff were exceedingly friendly, and parking very safe.

It was on a direct bus route to the port, important as we were going to Corsica. It was within walking distance of the railway station where we could catch the 99 bus to the airport(4 euros each!). I spend over 150 nights per year in hotels around Europe, but I'll always remember the 9 days I stayed at La Pérouse in early January 2009. The paroramic view from my room (504) onto the Baie des Anges, the city below and snow-capped mountains around was simply spectacular. Very courteous and helpful staff with unassuming manners. - Nice candies :)
