Very comfortable beds! Very central location, close to car drop off for rental. Had a courtyard room....very quiet, a room over looking the sea would have been nice too. Great location for everything. Large room with good facilities.Everything was fine!. Staff were very friendly, room was quite and comfortable, location great, breakfast was fantastic will stay there next time we visit Nice.

The room is very spacious and the hotel itself is located right near the beach.Location is excellent.. Lack of a restaurant and pool.There was a fumes-like smell in the room. impossible access for less able, no help available, bathroom needs upgrade. lack of facilities. Car parking. I think they have a slight problem with the drains since there is a slight smell. I have stayed there before without noticing it.They only rely on their great localization, everything else is very bad. Not very professional staff, lousy breakfast and not to mention the very expensive room rates (for the room quality and service delivered). Does not seem to fit with the Mercure/Accor standards. Poor parking (none) informing to what is not really available ie parkinginternet etc none of which existed at all and getting charged 60 eurosfor leavin my car in a damp stale insecure public car park ...

From the the Colline du Château you have a panoramic view overlooking the Baie des Anges (Bay of Angels).

Standard rooms are located on the 2nd floor and offer a patio/city view or garden/sea view.

Superior rooms are located on the 3rd floor and were completely renovated in early 2009.

Travelling information

By Train:
From Nice SNCF train station, take the tram on Avenue Jean Médecin and get off at Place Massena.

By Plane:
From Nice airport take bus 98 towards Centre-Ville (city centre), and get off at Jardins Albert 1er. The bus runs from 06:45 to 22:40.

The Méridien/Ruhl public car park is situated under the hotel (at an additional cost and payable directly on site). There is direct access from the hotel reception by stairs, or by lift from Rue Gabriel Faure (50 metres away behind the hotel).
