  I expected less based on reviews (with all due respect to previous reviewers), but surprisingly staff was very service, polite and helpful, also room & bathroom were restored, neat and very clean.   We spent 3 days here with our three children -- 14, 11 & 8. The apartment was spacious enough for us to be comfortable, including a bunk bed in one of the rooms. Upon being dropped off on a Sunday afternoon, the taxi driver asked if we were sure this was the place as the entrance looked a bit odd and suspect and the street was expectedly dead ... what people say » for a late Sunday. However, the area is very convenient and we spent the three days walking to all the places we wanted the kids to see --- Louvre, Ei - We traveled with 6 people to Paris and were very pleased with our apartment. The kitchen was well-equipped so we could eat breakfast and a light dinner in our room, a grocery store and Patiserrie were a 5-minute walk a the most for our bread and other necessities, the beds and bedding were very comfortable, the bathroom was spacious, the security was excellent, we had a great view of the garden, laundry machines were in our kitchen so very convenient, the refrigerator was large. The hotel itself is in an old Parisian building and the whole feel of the place is like something out of the `Belle Epoch`period. The room was very big ( by Parisian standards) and the beakfast was good, with fresh fruit, fresh orange juice, and a good selection of bread, meat and cheese. It is only 10 minutes by taxi from the Gare du Nord and there was free wi-fi available. All in all a very nice traditional French hotel

  The location of this hotel is perfect- next door to Gare Saint Lazare, which is a central metro/RER station. The location makes it very easy to get around Paris, especially when travelling with a child. We paid for breakfast and this was a smart idea - the breakfast was - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel is conveniently located close to the Opera House, Galeries Lafayette and other major stores. The metro and Saint Lazare station are virtually on the door step.
