I really appreciated the location, which felt safe and is close to several metro stations, bus stops and an airport bus. There are also quite a few restaurants and snack bars nearby. The reception is open 24 hours, and the staff were pleasant and friendly. The room was quiet at night, clean and airy, and was great value for money. It also had free Wi-Fi and a TV. The hotel was great, I would say it's a good balance between price and location. It has just everything you need, very basic and rooms are small, nothing extravagant, but its clean and the location is extremely convenient: 2 blocks from the CDG shuttle bus, 1 block from RER and metro stations, 1 block from Lafayette shopping center, etc.
all reviews » All the basic requirements were there as well as a great location and very good staff. We also enjoyed the breakfast on-site meals and being able to have tea at night brought to our room. The staff also went above great service by helping us keep a large block of cheese in their kitchen fridge which was destined for Canada. the loacation is really fantastic. very close to metro. People are very friendly and can speak good English. it is very clean. we felt very comfortable during the stay in paris. it is a good hotel for budget traveller. I loved this hotel. It is not luxurious, but the room was clean, the staff is very kind and your in the middle of the city at a cheap rate. Yes it's an old building, but thats what gives it it's charm to my opinion. The staff were brilliant when we had a small problem with our room, and couldn't help enough. The Hotel is close to all the places we wanted to visit, and we will stay there again!. The easy access to the metro, the known boulevards and the opera. It's a calm hotel. In comparison to other hotels in the same location, it is a budget-friendly hotel in a live area. I liked its location, in the very centre, behind the Gallery, near the Grand Opera, bus stop is at hand, museum of parfumerie , and many many cafes and shops. location is so good~ you can easily go shopping or go sightseeing. Elevator is only enough for 1 person 1 luggage. Stairs are carpetted so felt comfortable using the staircase instead. Reception staff are extremely friendly and helpful especially Syiva. Lots of leaflets for things to do. The cleaning lady found my Blood testing kit I had forgotten and rushed down to the foyer to give it to me. I had a pleasant stay. and will return there. It can get a little noisy during the night as the rooms give onto the interior court. I would upgrade the shower curtains although the other ones did the job as well as provide hair dryer. We had tea at night {on a tray with cups and hot water which we brought back the same night to the front desk}which was great however we were not informed of the cost/night until we left. It was not the 2 euros/night cost but only to be informed that there is a cost. One of the washrooms was out of order for more than one day however other washrooms were available. the room is a little small but this is hotel in paris with cheap price. so we should say we are satisfied with everything in this hotel. nothing unsatisfied. I didn't mind sharing the bathroom, but I was on the third floor. It was defenetly clean, but it flushed poorly. As did the one on the second floor. The one on the first floor was new and therefor the best, so I used that one. Nothing!!. The lift and the stairs are small. It's located in the centre, a little noisy. A little bit too small. inner courtyard of windows could be noisy at times with other guests talking. We stayed on the 4th floor but the elevator was broken. No AC. tiny lift, small room. poor wi fi. nothing. Small room. Nothing. The toilet was too far away from my room. The breakfast was too basic, much to many sweet items, ( I an diabetic. ) no cereals , or orange marmalade (we British like this). It was hard to see what was in the large vacuums i.e.. tea, coffee or water. The latter was cold when I went down for breakfast. No hair drier and there was no lift up to the fift floor where I stayed (not a problem per se, but the poor lighting made me miss the narrow passage and I hit the roof with my head (never nice..). Ensuite Bathroom was tiny, no air con, couldn't get wifi to work in room. room is small no hair drier. bed, bathroom, elevator were VERY small. we are small people, so large people, BEWARE !. The staff don't speak English. In the room all night there was a horrible noise from pipes in the shower. We can't open windows because of facade restoration - there were scaffolds just near a windows. They were repainting the hotel inside hallways at the time and we were not notified. The room was small. No warm water of shower in the night. The service was bad!. Awake all night - every time someone used loo/took shower, the room trembled. The staff were not very friendly, the decor and bed linen very old but clean, bathroom was make-shift and moldy and the water from shower flooded onto carpet in room. Wifi only worked occasionally. The room is so small. You need to close the door first if you want to go to the bathroom. The lift in the hotel is tiny. Can only fit 2 pp. Not ideal for travellers with lots of luggage. Narrow corridors Lack of ventilation in rooms Dingy dark and gloomy No functioning wi-fi. the room was very stuffy and there was no air conditioner in the room. we could hardly sleep since the weather was too hot. there was no kettle provided in the room so you will need to go to the receptions if you need hot water. Hotel was in a state of repair, no carpeting, for example. The rooms were very basic and scruffy, given that I paid 95 euros for a room for one night for two people. They swindled me with a double charge of the room. It is not clean and it looks like very old and dirty.
