I expected less based on reviews (with all due respect to previous reviewers), but surprisingly staff was very service, polite and helpful, also room & bathroom were restored, neat and very clean. We were 2 adults and 8 year old girl, the size of the room was a bit tight but nobody of us comply because we just wanted a clean bed and bathroom and a room with window. Definitively my best recomendation. These hotel would be my first option if I would go again to Paris.

After I reviewed all the comments I expected worth then I saw. Nice receptionist whose name is Bassam(Big thank you to him) gave me cosy, clean room just after renovation. Bathroom was completely new, towels were clean everyday. Great price and location. 5 minutes walk from Opera. Very helpful staff, amazing location, 2 minutes away from the metro. Ideal solution for a weekend trip to Paris. Good value for money if you don't mind the small size of the rooms. Rooms were very clean and had the basic amenities (hair dryer, toiletries, fan, TV). Location around the corner from the Opera, Olympia Hall, rer trains and subway. This is the center of Paris! The rooms renovated and there is a new furniture. There was a dumpster near the hotel and was loud at 4:00 am. No air conditioning; the street is extremely noisy in the mornings and in the summer you will be sleeping with an open window because of the heat. No deadbolt on the door. No safe in the room. You only get 1 key card and you have to leave it at the front desk when you exit the hotel. Very small room (+1 metre will be enough:) for 2 people, for one - will be super. No refrigerator, small elevator (often seen in Paris),. No fridge in the room. The rooms are much to smal. it would have been better value for money if its was a bed and breakfast hotel. Some fellow residents appeared to be having even more fun than us in the early morning. No outside view French doors looked down into a internal utility area. TV was too small (I am partially sighted. Volume on BBC world service too low. The breakfast was not suitable to a diabetic, too sweet. The wall is so thin, can hear the sound from the next room. No free wifi The bathroom door is inconvinient. the hotel still under renovation so to much sound around. The extractor fan in bathroom was not working. a lot of noise caused by construction works. room too small no air-condition ,too hot the bed too hard. All of the stuff don't know Russian. The night staff is not friendly at all. They was redecorating the hotel. Rooms are too small. Noisy if you open the window. Dirty, noisy. The door to the bathroom didn't close, the ceiling was terrible! At 6.30 am construction workers were singing outside our room seems like it was inside. I didn't expect much from a 2 star hotel - but I believe it at least should be clean and everything inside should work properly To compare with, the nght before we had stayed in a 1star hotel in Luxembourg which cost 61 euros for 3 people and everything was excellent. the staff was nice but then the cleaning lady broke a bottle of perfume i had in the toilet. we reported it to the night receptionist, but when i checked out the following day the person said, its not their fault and asked me to write a letter and never returned.. no apologies nothing.. terrible service.. hate it.. i would not recommend this hotel to anyone... unless you want to be in a place where you cant trust the staff with your stuff.. Small rooms. I do not know why the hotel has charged my credit card twice for a similar amount.Could you please enquire and inform me. Renovation is in progress place is in an absolute mess. Breakfast too expensive:15euro p.p. (for a coffee and some croissants)and it was served seperately in each room because of renovation works in the hotel. The service was awful especially from the reception tat works night shift. Jean Pierre is his name. There's no A/C in the room and it's under renovation and the smell of paint is just intoxicated. tiny rooms, shower with no curtains, smell of the wall paining. One towel in room for two people. Receptionist did not know the name of his manager, could not sort out the problems I raised.
