Everything was perfect! We recieved the picode via mobile phone and e- mail. The room had a small kitchen, wich was fully furnished with everything you need to cook. The Flatscreen tv was huge, everything was clean and there was lots of space. In less then a minute walk you have a big S-Market and in a app. 5 minutes walk you have lidl, Subway and Mc Donalds. Also there are many factory outlets in the same area where you can get some good deals on clothing. Also great is the possibility of free.

Perfect for a solo traveller on a business trip, as it's close to transportation (metro and buses to city center), plenty of shopping and eating opportunities in the area, and the apartments have just what you need to relax after a hectic business day in downtown Helsinki. The staff (which I mostly contacted via phone and email) were very helpful with my various queries and request (invoices, reservation confirmation etc.) I definitive. Easy to find, despite that hotel is situated not in the city center. Subway and buss stops are nearby. Supermarket is ca 100 m away from the hotel. Room was very nice and very clean. Room was equipped with big LCD TV, and small kitchenette with everything necessary. Key code has been received in proper time. Will certainly come back to this hotel when I will be in Helsinki. Basically, all the system works relatively well - you just need to assume that this is not a hotel, it is a short term flat renting (basically, a great option for relocation to Finland, not so great option for the holiday) and that there is no personal in place (everything is fully automated, door is opened using a code that is delivered via SMS). This is a wonderful hotel. The room has everything you need. Not far away are shops and a pharmacy. The hotel is not far from the city center, in a quiet area. I liked it very much, it was very convenient and comfortable to live in this hotel. I'm sure more will come to Helsinki and choose only Forenom House Helsinki!. You use a key code to get into the building and the room, so there was no key to carry around. The room was very clean. The kitchen was equipped with a microwave, kettle and dishes. The hotel was near the metro and close to grocery stores. This is a great hotel for budget travelers. Really nice hotel. No reception. You will receive a SMS message with your door code. Note that you receive it around 16:00 and you cannot go there earlier. Metro station is really near. Really good place to stay if you are by car. Free parking. Very clean. Stayed in two different rooms as I extended my original stay. Both were good but 6th floor corner room was noisy with wind - not much could be done about that.. No noise from other guests. Though the hotel is not in the very center of Helsinki, still very well connected by metro. The seaside is very close, perfect for jogging and enjoying nature. Very good shops nearby. The situation. clean, not far from city center (only 5 or 6 stops from central station by metro), many supermarkets around, I strongly recommend a Chinese restaurant called Peach Garden (桃園) (Hiihtajantie 1, Herttoniemi) near the metro station coz it's cheap (8 euro) and food is good!!. Close to metro. Apartment design. Self check-in works perfect! No reception, you do not have to worry about a late check-in in the night. You feel on your own, like in a true apartment, not in a hotel. The apartment was quite nice, the beds very uncomfortable. But it was not that we had booked. This is not an opinion about Forenom in Herttoniemi district. good price for value if booking is done a few weeks ahead, otherwise price increase and not such a good deal. Clean room with all the necessary. Room was clean and had everything for basic needs (refrigirator, wi-fi, kettle, dishes ie) it takes 5 minutes of walk to metro station and metro arrives to city center in 10 minutes. Although not in the center of Helsinki, the metro takes ten minutes to get there. The rooms have a well equipped kitchenette to cook without problems. Beds were comfortable, free parking. Clean and had basic kitchen, microwave, plates etc. no noise from the street, available appliances, clean, TV; fridge. Cheapest hotel in helsinki in that moment. You could hear quite a lot from the above rooms. I had no problems, it was all that I expected. Maybe a larger bathroom sink, and somewhat better cleaning supplies in the laundry room would be in order. Price is a bit high. It would have been nice to have received to the key code to the room the morning of our stay, that way we could have had it before arriving in Helsinki. wasn't in a touristy area, but the city is about 10 mins by metro. There place is unattended. I was supposed to receive the entry coed by SMS and email, no SMS only the email came at 1600 hours. I was able to receive the email because I had a smartphone and connected at the front door to the hotel. If you dont get the code follow someone else into the hotel and there is a free phone in the lobby that you can use to call Customer Service and get the code. Check-in at 4 p.m. - a bit late. Little possibility to eat outside (just one pizzeria/cebab place - 500 m away). Sushi bar closes early, opens late. I couldn't ask questions to staff, because i arrived to Forenom at night. I was suspected to be a smoker. We had no information about the way of getting in the room. The number of electronic key was sent us very late. I'd like to take personal pin-code earlier. Nothing : it's a good adress. can only enter after 4pm (password sent out at 3:15pm which made us very nervous), staff is remote-control by computer so not very helpful while problem happens (they promise will send staff to check our problem but no show), kitchen is fake! they put a pan which can't work on the electronic stove in our room so we can just throw away some purchased food finally! (some neighbor say there's even no pan and electronic stove in their rooms!!), they don't offer toilet paper,. No kitchen stove, only microwave. Dirty cutlery and plates, you have to wash them on arrival and before you left. Crazy drunk screaming people were running during the night in corridors and keep us awake almost all night long. Soundproofing might be better for such kind of apartment. Price is a bit high for such a level of comfort. Due to an error of Forenom House Helsinki booked the same accommodation twice, changed our accommodation without warning, we get the notice to reach Helsinki. when we talked to them the answer was that it was very late and could not change anything until the next day, we were told we would call the next day to meet our reclamacion.We are waiting for your call. beds are old and uncomfortable, I ended up sleeping on the floor, if you don't care about that and the fact of taking always the metro for the centre is a good budget hotel. Code system. On second day my room code stop working. I had to call support and wait about 20 min. It would be good to have someone to take support from easier. We did not receive pin code by sms and we could not reach the phone number provided in letsbookhotel.com . I think it was a private service number and it was not possible to dial it while roaming. The cleanliness of the rooms depends on the previous tenant and have no cleaners. The cleanliness leaves much to be desired. The code for our room door didn't work. We were standing in the hallway while I contacted the service department via the lobby phone. After 30 odd minutes of waiting and trying new codes it finally opened. Building is a bit run down. Okay for budget accommodation but for the price you could find something closer to the center of Helsinki. The noise from the fridge was terrible, I could not sleep all night. There is no latch or anything, making me feel totally unsafe throughout my stay. Using only codes, was a bit scarry. Hotel staff left my email unanswered. I cannot recommend a place where the most basic rules of customer respect are not followed. But not worth saving money. If u really want to save money, go to hostel... If money is not so important (10-20€+) find another place (which is probably better). The worst hotel I have ever been.
