  The hotel itself is centrally located. This seems like a simple statement, but Ecuador is extremely difficult to drive through (no signs... anywhere... for anything) and the property sits right on the main road in and out. Everything is nearby - restaurants, squares, historical sights and beautiful churches. The staff were extraordinarily accommod... what people say » ating, even as our reservation had not yet transmitted to them. We had reserved a parking spot at a garage around the corner, and the concierge came o - Terrific service! When it was determined that our vehicle was too tall for the garage that the hotel works with, they found an alternative parking lot for the same price. We appreciate very much that the hotel is pet-friendly. WiFi is strong, the beds are comfortable, and the breakfasts are good. And the location is great. We would stay here if/when we return to Cuenca.

  The staff were exceptional! Several speak English very well, but every single person there made us feel like an invited guest. The location is absolutely perfect for sight seeing in Old Town, shopping, visiting the local market, and relaxing in a local park. The food is very good and the bar/restaurant is beautiful!

  From the moment we walked in we were charmed. Very pretty quaint colonial style hotel with lovely, cozy sitting areas and a warm ambience. We stayed in the mini suite and it was perfect for two of us. Rooms are small but very clean and the location is perfect. 5 blocks to the city square. The staff is what we will remember. There is always a smile from the staff and they are more than happy to help in anyway, directions, tours, recommendati - I have stayed in hotels all over the world and I would have to say that the staff could not have been more accommodating, helpful and friendly. From arranging taxis to an earlier than normal breakfast for us to recommending restaurants during Carnival when most places were closed. This was a fantastic experience. Mucho gracias to all the staff.
